"I am currently attending Charles R Drew University and the fact that the program length for FNP is only 16 months is one of the things that won me over. You will not a find a program shorter than that. The demand isn't overwhelming and I would say working and studying full-time simultaneously is definitely possible. It is also a community that is very welcoming and diverse. Being an Asian-American LGBT woman, I appreciate that a lot."

"Cons are slow financial aid checks, and no social life. Pros are a great quality education and great utilization of technology."

"Charles R. Drew University is a wonderful school that needs more funding in order to accomplish some of the goals it has set in order to remain competitive with neighboring medical schools. This school has truly lived up to it's mission of serving the underserved communities by providing programs such as local farmers markets, youth science programs, Saturday science academy and initiating job preparedness programs for community residents."

"Charles drew university does not make it hard for working students to attend school, they know exactly what we need and will help us as much as they can. It has the fastest program for FNP and does not require you to take a lot of prerequisites that will cost a lot of money."
