"I believe that the quality of the education in the program, coupled with the unique courses of study offered, gives such an advantage over other schools. However, because Chatham is a private school, there is very limited financial aid."

"Tell us about your college experience. The university was very easy to navigate through online and the instructors were not only highly trained and qualified to teach, but they also had experience in the subject that they taught. The total cost was less that what was posted on this website- here they list $30,000 as the average, but for the master's program I graduated from it was around $21,000."

"Chatham's faculty is knowledgeable and cares about it's students and helps students network in their career fields. The classes are relatively difficult with a bit of a heavy workload but it's meant to help students learn and gain well rounded knowledge in their field. The campus also has their own shuttle service and public transportation is free with student ID. Chatham campus also uses their technology and continues to improve their technology to help the environment. However, since it's an all female undergraduate campus and co-ed graduate school the diversity of gender is not balanced well at all."

"The program is affordable and they school offers financial aid. The classes themselves are competitive. I love the fact that they have clinicals in between schooling instead of having all the clinicals at the last year."

"Chatham's MAP program helps to prepare students to either go on for their careers or to advance to a Ph.D program. Faculty really care about their students and have a vast array of knowledge to share about their experience in the field."

"Chatham University provides students with quality education with challenging course work, but a relatively moderate workload. Professors are truly there to help student's succeed with a 10:1 teacher to student ratio. They provide many free transportation, including the public bus and their own personal shuttle. Undergraduate admissions at Chatham is all female where graduate is male and female, so although there is a diversity of culture (many international students) and religions, there could be more diversity. Of course school is also expensive and I plan on taking out a lot in loans - hopefully not too much - and applying for many scholarships. Chatham is a private school so it is expected to be more expensive than a state school, for example. I am a first year grad student and have not spent much time yet at Chatham University, however it was my first choice of graduate school and I am excited to achieve my Master's degree there. Perhaps my rankings will change over time, but for now I'm confident in Chatham's overall rankings."

"This is a small program of about 25 students so everyone is friendly and it makes studying with classmates easy."

"I feel the overall program has certain advantages to students who do not have the undergraduate degree in the graduate feild of study."

"My program was very helpful in getting me the background that I needed for the sciences in order to apply to my doctorate program. My professors were kind, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and excellent in their fields of studies. If it wasn't for Chatham, I would not have been accepted at my top choice for my doctorate program. I will always be grateful of the wonderful education that I received from Chatham University."

"Pros: A problem-based learning program that forces you to learn and discover on your own. Small groups can enhance your learning and teach you how to work in a real-world team environment. Small groups can draw on the strengths and expertise of other group members. Cons: Problem-based learning is usually not the most efficient way to learn. You need to learn to focus on the case presentations and course objectives to guide your learning. Working in small groups can be challenging."

"Chatham is definitely expensive, but so far it seems well worth it. The faculty are so willing to go above and beyond for students, and they really know their field. The campus is gorgeous, and so close to all sorts of areas in Pittsburgh. It's rigorous, but I also feel like I'll be really prepared for my career."
