Columbia Basin College Reviews
Student & Graduate Reviews (5)
I was a running start student from Hanford High School and graduated from both high school and Columbia Basin College in June 2015 with my Associate in Arts & Science to transfer to WSU. After finishing high school requirements, I finished off my Associates with the WSU nursing program prerequisites. After graduating, I will returning to CBC for the last of my nursing prerequisites. The AA I chose is perfect for those who plan on transferring to another college or university to further education because you can choose classes that are related to your career choice. The number one thing to be aware of is always ask question and be aware of all possible options, make sure credits are correctly obtained because I know I wouldn't have graduated on time if I didn't make sure I had everything I needed and planned correctly.
Columbia Basin College is a great money saver before you transfer to a 4 year university. There are many financial programs there that help you to start out, take advantage of them! Everyone is there to help you, you just need to do the footwork to get the ball rolling.
Over two years of my ongoing education has been within Columbia Basin College. The school's available resources have taken awhile to getting used to, and what I mean is finding the particular resource, seeking its full availability, and taking full advantage of the resource. But I have managed to grow accustomed to seeking these great resources, which seem plentiful for all career paths a student desires to choose.
Columbia Basin College (CBC) is absolutely the best college for anyone looking to get a degree/certificate. There are numerous programs that a student can get into. All the programs are hands on experience and really prepares you for your career. The professors at CBC are very caring, understanding and helpful. They truly want the students to succeed, and push us to do the best we possibly can.
I took the Vocation Business Admin certification course. Course we very interesting and now I have a great amount of understanding on how business is performed in different sectors of our economy.
