"Great school with a lot of connections and top rate teachers. It is a worthwhile experience but very rigorous in nature.I would think about how committed you are to edcuation and academia before coming here. The architecture course takes up a lot of time and requires serious commitment if you want to do well.I highly recommend this school if you want an education that will change how you view the world."

"I believe New York is THE PLACE to study Urban Design, and Columbia GSAPP Urban Design program does great justice to that. It's an excellent 1-year program which hosts a good academic environment with great faculties, diverse background of students, the greatest library facilities and so many more! In our studio sessions, many guest critics used to come, and we got to know many people outside the school which we really appreciate. Columbia GSAPP, I believe, is a great place for networking with professionals and to learn in a competitive environment."

"The CCCP program gives research tools to architectures who want to go further in the field of theory. The education quality is remarkable and the bibliography is quite up to date. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit pricey and sometimes students cannot afford it."

"Simply the top of the line GRad program! but you pay for it. alot. My decision to attend Columbia versus other schools which offered me a scholarship came down to reputation. As a Berkeley Graduate I know that attending a school with such an immediately recognizable reputation has great value later in life."

"Alot of what you are paying for at Columbia is the name. Having said that the name opens alot of doors! I graduated with an undergrad degree from UC Berkeley and witnessed first hand that people take you much more seriously as soon as you tell them you have a degree from a 'top tier' university. While I hate the branding and commercialization of education, this is the reality we face now. Having a degree from an Ivy League automatically qualifies for respect that many people have to work much harder to earn."
