"The Vocational Nursing School promised the nursing students an updated clinical nursing lab over 1 year ago. The lab has not been updated in over 6 years and continues to have broken, non functioning mannequins and equipment or lack of equipment and supplies for educational purposes. I’m beginning to suspect that the reason why the school does not purchase supplies or update their the equipment used for the education of their vocational nursing students is because the majority of the student body who attend this career school are minorities. Question for the owners of Concorde-do you not feel the need to improve your nursing clinical lab because you are in the business of recruiting minority student’s and you suspect they don’t deserve the best even though you are accepting government financial aid? The ISD have better labs and funding-so let’s push for more resources and funding for ISD high schools to offer more career based education-like vocational nursing, clinical nursing assistant courses-take the monetary gain out and the proprietary career schools will either improve or discontinue their poor performing educational tracks. Come on Texas-offer the Junior Colleges more resources to educate more future nurses-removing the need for career colleges to offer vocational nursing tracks."

"I would definitely NOT recommend this expensive school to anyone. The instructors and directors change frequently and that really challenges your motivation on what you're really investing your time into. They are not thorough in telling you what will hold you back on your background check just to get you in the door. I was told traffic tickets wasn't a problem. Concorde ran my check and it came back with no holds. When I graduated, the board of nursing said different. Now I can't take my NCLEX exam until those are fully taken care of. The DON and Vice President never got back with me when I reached out to them about my concern. I had to call them nonstop for a month before they spoke with me. They don't care nothing about you! Concorde was a total waste of my time and I hope no one makes the same mistake that I did."

"I am currently a student in the evening nursing program. The instructors for first term are great. They are very helpful and friendly. The overall environment of the school is good. The location is convenient and I like that the classes are short and to the point."
