"My education at Concordia University was a good experience. I felt that the rigor of program was tough and I definitely had to work hard to succeed in the program. Given the sheer number of students in their program they significantly increased expectations while I was in the program and I believe this could impact students who are not strong academically to succeed in the program. I felt well prepared when I started my role as a family nurse practitioner."

"I had my Bachelors in nursing at Concordia University Wisconsin. A private Lutheran College that is Christ centered. Everyone treated me with respect as an adult, African American male student in a female dominated profession. Professors are always willing to work with me and answer most of my questions. Hence, I graduated with my BSN in 2012 and have enrolled for my master's degree in 2016 to obtain my nurse practitioner license in the same school. I will be graduating in December 2019. I recommend Concordia University if you are looking for a good University to go to and also their tuition is reasonable."

"My higher education experience isn't one of your average college student. I have been able to study in Europe (Spain and France) and just recently got back from an internship in Costa Rica - que chiva, verdad?! I have also been blessed with the opportunity to hold many leadership positions on campus that I have been able to gain lifelong connections and skills from. I am happy to say that my education has fully prepared me for the full-time position as an international tax analyst that I was offered upon graduation!"

"Concordia University Wisconsin sits on the cliffs overseeing beautiful Lake Michigan. The opportunities provide by the university is a vast as the lake itself. Located not too far from two major cities (Milwaukee and Chicago), CUW provides students with the opportunities to learn in person, online, and in blended format which is perfect for working adults looking to advance in their career. Take a stroll on the winding path from the bluffs down to the lake."

"Concordia University Wisconsin I hold near and dear to my heart. Not only did I attend for my four year undergraduate Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree (for which is was on campus for), but I had such an amazing experience that I chose to attend online for my Master's of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree as well (which is online). Also, I plan to continue on to obtain my Doctorate of Nursing degree at the same institution. Concordia is truly one of a kind and I can not express how well the School of Nursing prepared me for my future in health care. The professors are so passionate about the success of their students...both in classroom and online. They truly go above and beyond to make themselves available to students to discuss any concerns and answer any questions. Additionally, the sense of community and support from the school is incredible. I can honestly say that this institution has directly impacted my confidence, preparedness for my career, and overall success in my future. I would highly encourage anyone to look into the programs at Concordia...either on campus or online, because it is truly an institution that stands apart from the rest."

"Concordia University Wisconsin has one of the best Educational Technology and Instruction programs around. The course professors and program councilors help the students and offer guidance at every turn. The program director and professors are professionals in their fields. They write for and speak in front of national audiences as well as teach in their own classrooms. They understand teachers because they are in the trenches with us."

"The counselors are loyal but will ignore you. So far, Teachers will not honor assigned web schedules and can fail you anytime in incomplete. Not a fair online program for working adults or non traditional students. Ruins your GPA, not for honor students. Students of any age are not treated with respect but slaves within the system. Beautiful campus and the Campus life itself ranks higher than the online classes. Online is not mgt properly. Very poor team work within the office administration and communications. Sad, A waste of student grants and loans."

"Pros: - Some of the staff go above and beyond to support students. - Some staff members are very encouraging and are sure to provide positive feedback to students, in addition to constructive criticism. - The online journal databases from the library provide a wide variety of resources when doing research. - The library offers free book rental by mail to online students who are not able to access the library resources. - The classes are run through Blackboard, which has an app and can be accessed from your cell phone. Cons: - Costly - Seemingly unnecessary classes have been added to extend the length of programs - these classes feel like a complete repeat of previous classes taken. - financial aid is only available to grad students in the form of student loans. They do not provide grants to grad students. - inconsistency within the program - difficult to get a true answer to questions regarding curriculum and standards based on AOTA guidelines. -Length of the program is excessive for those completing only a master's degree when compared to other programs and AOTA guidelines. Those completing both a master's and bachelor's are only required to go for 1 year longer at the minimum to be considered full-time (12 credit hours for 2 semesters, 6 credit hours in summer). Their courses for the bachelor's portion are online only. - Program director and some other staff are very slow to respond when needed."

"Concordia University Wisconsin had a great online program. I have not completed my final practicum, but they have been so supportive of my hard work & needing to work around my schedule with working full time. I currently am working as a nurse educator at a Home Care Agency & it has been important to them that I complete my degree. I loved the classes & the instructors were very helpful & gave detailed feedback."

"I knew going into this program for Occupational Therapy was going to be difficult. My husband and I had to make the big move from another state and trust he would find a job so I could pursue my dream. Concordia's staff were very supportive and seemed genuinely happy to welcome me into their program. Because the school is small, each student receives personalized attention from professors. We are also provided opportunities to contribute to the doctoral research of our professors. I believe each professor has many years of experience in the field for which they teach and their passion is evident in their style. I don't have many cons for this school except the online network they use, it often shuts students out which is difficult for online students, though I am aware they are making active changes."

"I enjoy the versatility of online classes. I feel that I gain a lot of knowledge from the online lectures as I can re-watch sections with pertinent information. I feel that I have good support from the faculty and my emails are addressed promptly. I am glad I made the decision to return to school for my graduate degree."

"This has been a wonderful opportunity to just get started. I am able to take online classes so I am able to maintain my professional life to try to afford my Graduate degree while also continuing to take care of my family! Each person I have encountered via online communication has been extremely helpful in assisting me through navigation of orientation, registration, course expectations!"

"This program offers a variety of progression plans to allow for flexibility from semester to semester which is a nice feature if one is working or raising a family. The instructors and advisors are approachable via email and phone for support which is a necessity when completing the courses online. At the same time, a con of this program is that you do not have the face to face contact and immediate response when asking questions. One is forced to work independently, think critically and problem solve. Overall, this is a great school and the program has exceeded my expectations thus far."
