"Cumberland University is a small school with great things happening. The school has approx. 3500 students and offers undergraduate and masters degrees. Programs I loved at Cumberland university are Accounting courses, business courses, and Music. I love the excellent teacher vs student ratio I love the school culture - family culture"

"Pros - Online graduate degree programs provide the opportunity to learn at your own pace; if it's hard for the student to sit through two hours of information and lecture, it's easily eliminated when the learning is conducted online. You have the ability to spread lectures and information throughout the day or week. Cons-Online programs usually require students to own a reliable computer, printer and have access to high-speed internet, all of which is expensive. In addition, an ongoing debate is circulating of how much actual learning occurs with online degree programs."

"A lot of college programs are going to the 8 week class and the A and B semester, but I think this is sometimes too fast. To get a quality education, sometimes people need the extra time to be able to fully understand the information. I think that the option of a longer, more traditional, 3 month semester should be available for individuals that want that extra time to get a quality education. I also believe that having online classes available for all classes needed for your program will allow flexibility for students and allow more students to attend. I know several people that did not choose Cumberland University because they had to be on campus and their schedules did not allow this. Some people going back to school have schedules that do not mesh with what Cumberland University's availability. The last thing needs to be the student portal. It is hard to navigate to find what you need and it is never up to date. You can not find books for your classes and sometimes the classes are moved from the location by the professors without notice to students."

"Pros are that I can have on campus classes and the classes are in the evening. Cons are that they did not require your bachelor to be in the same program only that you pass GRE and this makes learning difficult when they expect you to know the subject already."
