"Hunter College is located in Manhattan, easily accessible by public transport. I found the quality of my education there to be quite good. I enjoyed most of the professors I encountered. They were overall fair, seemed passionate about their teachings, and understanding. If you are attending Hunter College for Nursing, I'd say it is extremely unforgiving and competitive. Some of the pre-requisite classes felt impersonal and those professors were distant and difficult. I still recommend the school, but one should be aware of these short comings.Read Less"

"It was a great school, I will say they make the classes harder than needs to be compared to other schools, I recommend E-Permitting whenever possible, the professors here are nice though. But its definitely a competitive school, no doubt. Great food in campus, and outside."

"CUNY Hunter college is a college that has really good value. You receive a quality education for a low price. There are numerous resources, departments, majors, and clubs that all encourage students to be part of the community or to just receive their education to their preference. For example, the career center, they have a professional personally talk with you and find out what you want in your career. They help you fix your resume and give you recommendations on internships, or ways to boost your marketability in your field. They often host events with snacks and coffee to encourage students to come. There are some downsides, Hunter doesn't fit traditional college life in some aspects. They don't have a big outdoor campus, they are a part of the city, which can also be seen as a pro for many people. I really enjoyed my time at Hunter and would recommend it to people who want a high value education without having to spend exorbitant amounts.Read Less"

"I studied General Biology and Psychology at Hunter College, and these studies have prepared me for my future post- baccalaureate graduate studies that I will commence this summer at UCSF. Though most of the important science prerequisite courses were instructed at Hunter's assembly hall, I am confident that the knowledge that I have acquired in my undergraduate studies under the Biology and Psychology departments will prove themselves useful as I continue to move towards my goal of becoming a dental professional.Read Less"

"Hunter College has a very strong Biomedical Sciences Program. For all Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry majors, it is a great place to obtain education if your goals are to go into Medical School, or work in the biomedical field. Professors are excellent and are able to answer all questions. The career development journey is simple thanks to various advisors who constantly work to help you build the best portfolio."
