"The program-specific classes are ideal, however the number of required courses leaves very little room for electives that may aid in specialization. Moreover, there is basically no opportunity for financial aid for international students, whose employment is already limited by being on a student visa."

"John Jay has overall been a positive experience. I only wish that there were more activities for graduate students specifically."

"The program offer great opportunities to meet and interact with professors and provides exposure to many areas of psychology to help focus your goals but offer very little in the way of assistance in obtaining internships. The program has a very DIY feel but if you have the time to commit to figuring out your options, you can really be significantly impacted by professors and course work."

"My program has prepared me for research in my future work in psychology both through research labs and informative coursework. My only complaint would be the lack of clinical work in courses."
