"I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Administration at John Jay College. The program has excellent faculty and the curriculum is top notch. My only feedback is that the career guidance and focus on helping students find jobs in the field is not as strong as I'd hoped for. I would also like to see the differential tuition charged for the MPA program used to strengthen the career advising services."

"The positive aspects of my graduate program are the following:reasonably affordable (although I am having trouble paying for my education for the upcoming semester), diverse student body and culture, many opportunities in my field of study, academic support, and fun activities to engage in. On the down side, the school only offers a limited amount of scholarships for graduate students and only during certain periods of time."

"John Jay has a great graduate program. The resources they provide graduate students like classes, graduate computer lab and reserved seatings are horrible. I believe if graduate students are paying a great amount of tuition they shoud be able to hold classes in the " New building" and give us a better computer lab and better seats. We pay for education but also for better amenities."

"John Jay provides excellent value for your money. The staff was experienced, knowledgeable, and accessible. The workload was fair and reasonable for an MPA level program. John Jay hosts numerous networking and career placement events and workshops on campus and does an excellent job notifying the students of these events. I highly recommend the program."

"I feel this MPA program benefited me by grounding my service with a better understanding of governmental policies, organizational theories, human nature, and research methodologies. It has allowed me to leverage my professional work experience through the lens of these studies, improving my ability to understand a situation, adapt, communicate and connect with people. I found that the professional student community to be the most enjoyable part of John Jay's program. Not only did I take away a deeper understanding of my discipline but friendships and professional contacts that will last well into the future. I loved the selection of my lectures and professors. They seemed to represent the diversity of the public sectors in my community"

"I feel very proud and fortunate to have pursued MPA at John Jay. It gave me every opportunity to succeed personally and professionally. Its robust curriculum, outstanding faculty, diverse student body and vibrant campus life are truly remarkable. John Jay is known for criminal justice nationwide and now is the time for MPA to go national."

"One pro of my graduate program is that since John Jay is very diverse, various experiences and opinions are present in class discussions. One con of my graduate program is that it is very competitive, which may not be a con at all since challenges are what make us stronger."

"As a previous student of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, I have researched and found the pros outwieght the cons in the graduate program. The faculty would be accessible and supportive to students needs. The campus is a safety environment with a deversity of students to participate in various social activities. I feel the graduate program would be an excellent opportunity to exceed in any career."

"This is a great program for an up and coming field. The staff is very supportive. The classes are challenging. A plus is that they lend you the textbooks and an Ipad. The Inspection and Oversight program is a great value."

"The pros of this program is that it has a connection with other shools within the CUNY network which is a plus in my book, as you will get a well rounded education. The con might be that they could offer their graduate students more options for financial aid assistance."

"The professors are respectful and engaging; they are experts in their respective fields and have relevant work experience to contribute toward the theories applied in the textbooks. My biggest trouble has been with getting in touch with the Department Heads to ensure my transfer credits were approved."
