"A horrible school…absolutely no guidance or help from any of the administrative staff. The way things are run is completely archaic, departments do not communicate at all, most of the time you have to just show up in person and hope that after talking to 3 or 4 different people someone is able to help you with your issue. The nursing department is especially terrible, you only get emailed to get reprimanded, however your emails to them with questions or concerns get lost in the abyss. You will have to navigate everything on your own because this school does not support its students in the slightest. I personally experienced this from the moment I applied until my last day."

"I want to start off by saying my review is purely for the administration side of Lehman College. The professors are some of the most amazing and understanding individuals that you can’t really find anymore. Like most people, a lot of us have a lot of external situations going on, but the professors always meet you halfway if you put the work in only ! Besides that, the administration in Lehman is just bad. It may be bureaucratic reasons or whatever it is, but it can’t be justified. Be prepared to get the run around from the Bursars Department and Financial Aid Office. They are some of the most dubious professionals I encountered in my college journey here. The TAP office specifically always giving myself and others a hard time with anything to do with grants. I can genuinely say if you can tolerate the bureaucratic demeanor the institution carries itself with, than consider attending the institution. Since the professors are some of the finest quality you can find in the metropolitan area. I just want to entail to the administration side of the institution, you are public servants. If you can’t work with people, please don’t work at all. You make the life of students more difficult and it’s unfair to those students and potential incoming employees that may want the position that you are in. Do us a favor and step down and don’t stagnant anymore this great academic institution. To those in charge, do something about it . It’s not just a paycheck, but the future of the state and nation."

"Think twice before applying to lehman college. Especially if your interested in the continuing education program. You might as well teach yourself. Not so great neighborhood and some staff members don't know what they're doing, from clerks to the higher ups. No need to mention they're names."

"CUNY Lehman College is a great college for a city kid who is looking to advance their education without paying the hefty cost of a private university. My academic advisers were honest and helpful in guiding me towards a major that would develop my talents and my interests. Even though my major was not what would end up being my ultimate career, I still appreciate the professors and coursework I received there. The professors are knowledgeable and understand the city life and its demands/stress. The best part was that the majority of the classes I took were at night, which allowed me to work during the day. Not many universities/colleges outside of NYC offer night-classes as often and as much as CUNY does. Additionally, their mental health counseling services were genuine and helped me manage the stress and anxiety of college. The sport coaches, particularly for Track and Field were very motivating and encouraging. This university is all about what the student makes of it; you create your own experience here. The downside is, tuition still continues to rise each academic year, and scholarships are far and few in between to attain."

"The material and course work were great. However, many instructors did not appear to have the best interest in the students, and often times I would find myself reaching out the head of departments for support. The school however did have many financial support services and scholarships that they advertised to students and provide alot of support in these areas."

"Overall, I enjoyed my experiences at Lehman College. The campus is beautiful, well maintained and made up of learned professors. You will find activities throughout the campus such as plays, music concerts, outdoor games, career development workshops, etc. There's room for improvements though. For instance, the the financial aid office have an impossibly long wait time (expect to spend at least 4 hours waiting on a good day) and they could've offered more scholarships. No school is perfect so I would recommend this school to a friend."

"Lehman College is a great campus. It is the only CUNY senior college in the Bronx with a lot of opportunities that students can take advantage of. By my experience, Lehman College is the best school in the Bronx. Many students who enrolled in Lehman were coming from other non-CUNY institutions such as New York University and SUNY Stony Brook University. There are many job opportunities on and off campus that students can get, especially when the jobs relate to their field. If any student is interested in the health field, I recommend him or her to apply in the Dietetics, Food and Nutrition program. Applying to this program can prepare students to be a Registered Dietitian or anything nutrition related. Students can also apply to the Dietetics Internship Program after getting their Bachelor's in Nutrition in any accredited institution. After finishing the program, students can sit down for the Register Dietitian exam and be certified to work anywhere in New York. I highly recommend anyone to enroll in Lehman College."

"I went to Lehman College and enjoyed being part of the beautiful campus. It has trees and green grass that provides a welcoming feeling to students. The staff were welcoming and processed my application as needed. The professors were friendly and available to support me any time with an appointment. I was inspired by a classmate who was a single mom, but worked and went to school. I've learned in this school that through hard work anything is possible. Thanks to Lehman College I'm achieving my dreams as a teacher."

"I am currently pursuing a masters degree I would have attended CUNY Lehman for my graduate studies however I was trying to spend less time traveling for my graduate degree. I enjoyed the campus at Lehman, it is beautiful lots of trees and space. Each department has its own building. Professors are available to speak to students. The classes are interesting and useful in the field upon graduation. I never felt unsafe while attending the campus."

"CUNY Lehman College is an affordable education with good professors. I enjoy the beautiful campus, and pleased with the diversity within the college culture. There are plenty of professors with experience in their fields of expertise, and with their knowledge and some hard work it helps tremendously in making the transition between college experience to real world jobs."

"I had great professors in Lehman College who had a passion for teaching and motivated me to do better. The Graphic Design program is very small but the classes are excellent and well instructed. I've learned so much from animation to 3D Design. Highly recommend!"

"The college has a diversity of people from many different countries. The environment is very welcoming and clean. The work load isn't very hard to manage with your social life because you have professors that help you in every step of your academic life and people that care. As for to a prospective student make sure to stay close to your professors as they help you out for your academic life. A great beginning for someone who wants to move onto the bigger campus but is scared to move on from high school. The shift from high school to Lehman College is rewarding to students who work hard. Also the campus is really safe and have safety guards on every entrance to college . Even-though the people on campus are nice and not harmful the school is very safe."

"This institution is very much like the real world: 1. It's what you make of it and 2. Opportunities exist everywhere; You just need to know where to look. When I first attended Lehman and compared it to other universities and colleges I hated how hands off the staff, faculty, and administration could be. Early on I got involved in the unorthodox student life of a commuters school and everything changed. I longer expected things to be handed to me. I quickly learned to network and make my way through the world of higher education in order to get what I want while bypassing the bureaucratic nonsense. The workplace is similar. I'm nearing the end of my senior year and I feel confident in my ability to succeed in my field. It wasn't always easy and more often than not I wanted to pull my hair out but it did prepare me for life after graduation."

"The pros of my program are for one, it is small so professor to student attention is very high. Everybody knows everyone by name and come from a variety of backgrounds. Also, being that it is a CUNY school, it is priced less that a private school, which takes away a little burden from loan repayment. Furthermore, it offers a variety of field placement opportunities to really learn your skills. The only con is the location, the school is located in the Bronx and is an hour from my home."
