"If you are looking into becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, Physicians Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Nurse, D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY should be a school of interest. These are extremely demanding programs that require a tremendous amount of effort from not only the students but the professors as well. D'Youville College offers small class sizes so each student is able to connect with each professor on a personal level that cannot be offered at larger schools. Being in the Doctor of Chiropractic program, my class size is about 10-15 students, each professor takes a special interest in the needs of each student to ensure they have all the tools and resources needed to excel. With firsthand experience, coming from a larger school from my undergraduate degree, class sizes were over 100 students, the professors didn't know the students' names and did not seem to take interest in the success of students. I am thankful I picked such a close knit atmosphere to study and learn my future career choice. The small school feel doesn't stop in the classroom either, all the services offered at the school are extremely efficient in catering to student needs. I could not see myself at another school and would highly recommend D'Youville College to anyone looking to further their academic studies!"

"Embarking on a journey towards a Doctorate program, or any graduate program for that matter, can be both exciting and daunting. The pressure to survive a competitive environment all while aiming to positively shape my character as a future professional seemed so overwhelming for a 20 something year old who was struggling to transition from a sheltered life into the real world. Luckily Ive found D'Youville College. Moving across the country to pursue a career at this school has been one of the best decisions of my life. D'Youvilles academic counselors, financial aid representatives, and program directors and professors have cultivated a positive and welcoming environment, especially for this California girl who's never lived with snow! DYC really knows how to take care of their students. There are always campus events and days dedicated to celebrating their students such as Student Appreciation Day. What better way to honor your students than with free food? The campus itself is intimate, and all the main student classroom buildings are literally connected so that you dont have to trek in the snow! The program is rigorous...to be expected, but my professors have gone above and beyond to extend their knowledge to us students, so that we may be equipped for practical application of our skills and critical thinking beyond the walls of the classroom. Their passion for the field has inspired and humbled me, and in times of self-doubt and bouts of panic from long study nights, I can still rest assured that it will all be worth it in the end. Time is always of the essence, and while I do think some time management could be approved in some departments (such as financial aid disbursement), I am overall happy to know that my time at DYC is priceless."

"Having a degree in Nursing has given me the confidence to stand in the gap for those who are not educated or opportune to have affordable healthcare. An example I found out based on the population of patients I take care of that those who do not have an education end up worse than they came to the hospital because most time they do not understand the treatment plan or procedure. As a result they allow anything and any medication. Lack of education has led many to a state of dissatisfaction with their health. With my degree in Public Health I plan to address this in my local community and the world at large."

"D'Youville College is a great school to go to for pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. The professors care about each student and really look to be invested in each one of their student's educations. I am very happy that I am at D'Youville. I would not want to be in any other program. I feel so cared about and I know that I will do very well in the program because of this."

"D'Youville College School of Pharmacy is a challenging program yes, but between the staff and peers you have every resource you would need to succeed. The faculty includes pharmacists from all over the world, each with their own specialty. This diversity among staff benefits the students in a way where each member has something unique to offer. Another benefit of the D'Youville College School of Pharmacy are the intimate class sizes. The quaint class size allows for one on one time between students and professors. The program could be best described as a community. Each student and faculty member plays a unique role within the program making it successful. The campus is located in the city of Buffalo. This urban setting has alot to offer from ethnic cuisine to a variety of possible rotation sites. D'Youville College School of Pharmacy is a professional institute that instills its students with the highest values. Every person a part of the program is working toward a common goal and the support system makes achieving that goal possible."

"PT program has ups and downs. Some professors are great while others are awful. Gross anatomy is the worst taught class I have ever taken. The building the program is in is very outdated and hard to find a power outlet. Handicap accessibility is non-existent which is sad for a health professions school."

"The graduate program I am in is very small with under 10 students in every class. This is a pro and a con. We receive more attention from the professors, but less student discussions which are also valuable. The professors are also very available outside of the classroom and willing to meet often. They are knowledgable and dedicated to the program and students."

"This is actually for Dietetics, however it seems the drop down doesn't have Dietetics as an option and does not give me other as an option either. The program itself is truly one of a kind and rather hard to get into. An estimated 25 students graduate from the BS/MS Coordinated program in Dietetics each year. And I do not believe more than 30 get accept each year. It is definitely worth going to because it takes away the hassle of having to apply for internships after completing an accredited program."

"The school and faculty are very helpful and it is obvious they do what they can to help you succeed. It is debate able whether the facilities and technology are up to the standard of where they could be which may hinder the learning and preparedness of the students for work in the field."
