"This MSW program is a joke, you learn nothing, the course material is repetitive. As a student you need to hold the professors and instructors accountable they forget to post class material online, they extend deadlines because they forgot to mention things, some professors have the students teach the class. It's ridiculous, I literally do not understand how this program is even accredited. Go somewhere else."

"This is a good program for students that work full time and are returning to school. Most of the work is done online and the instructors are supportive of students that work. The curriculum is familiar for students that have experience in social and human services. Most of the students are female and under 30; similar to other social work programs."

"Eastern Washington University's Master of Social Work degree provides a core curriculum for students pursuing a MSW. They tailor the hybrid part-time program for working professionals and approximately 90% of my cohort already worked in the field of social and human services. The professors are supportive and engaging. There is a lot of group work, therefore be prepared to rely on your colleagues for a good grade. This program is only moderately challenging if you already have a back ground in human services. The most difficult part is completing a practicum if you work full time."

"The EWU Social Work staff are all amazing. They understand that students have lives outside of school and that things happen. I've always felt that the faculty was my own personal cheering squad. Classes are offered on both the Cheney and Spokane campuses so it's easy to make classes fit into your life. However, the number of classes are limited as it's a small program so it can feel as if you bend life around school."

"The graduate program at Eastern Washington University is great if you are accepted into the advanced standing program. The advanced standing program lets you skip the first year of the program. Unfortunately if you aren't accepted into the advanced standing program you must complete both years. The first year of the two year program is almost an exact repeat of the first year of the Bachelor's level program. Still a great school and relatively low cost."

"My program has a good practicum experience. Some classes were more beneficial than others as were some instructors. The orals exam process was an extremely negative process and negative experience. I walked away feeling poor."
