"The college has un 45% bad teachers, by that I mean lack of passion, professionals, lack of teaching! If I knew that I wouldnt waste my money and time to teach myself and just took an online program and did that without seeing this waste. I dont understand! It is a school! Why teachers are worse than Google and YouTube? What is the point of going to a class and recive bad answers or worse, rude; what is the point for us students???"

"I enjoyed my time at El Centro Community College. I started there after moving from Missouri. I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. Being a cancer survivor, I benefited from one of their many programs, specifically their disability services. Because of my cancer treatments, it now takes me longer to comprehend things, so having access to these invaluable services have been a blessing. For example, I was given a little extra time to complete the tests. Also, teachers supplied me with their PowerPoint presentations to aid in learning the class material. The teachers should be commended for their commitment to their students they earnestly strive to make sure that you understand and are able to complete the lessons. The positive experiences and the skills I learned, gave me the wherewithal to continue my education at Northwood University, where I will be pursuing a BA in Healthcare Management."

"It is often not good when a facility doesn't get rated by current and/or former students for a long period of time. That being said, I will warn any student that you have to work hard and join a study group. They are Not well organized and communication in a timely manner can be a recurrent problem. I will not recommend this college unless you are an a budget and can be an advocate for yourself and are willing to join a study group. Tests are very challenging and the PowerPoint will not cover everything no matter how lengthy they can be. Start taking Nclex tests asap because this college will not prepare you for this kind of test. FYI Hesi or ATI test is NOT Nclex test. Study hard!!!!"

"Taking culinary courses at this school was one of the best choices I've ever made. I've learned so much while attending. Most classes, even core classes, are fairly easy to take as long as you put the effort in. And haven't had any issues with financial aid whatsoever, although I can't speak for everyone. Overall I feel El Centro is a great school to apply to no matter what career field you're in. Tuition rates are the most reasonable, not to mention that free bus pass with Dart."
