"The courseload is a bit too much but overall the grad program has been an engaging experience."

"Very good program. Concerns with diversity is across the discipline. Emory has made more of an effort than other schools to diversify."

"Emory School of Law offers a competitive and academically challenging learning experience, taught by brilliant and experienced professors and practitioners. The student life is good for a grad program, and is very friendly for a law school. The school offers a lot of networking, interviewing, and interning opportunities in the Atlanta, NY, and DC areas. Tuition prices are high though, and sometimes I wonder whether we need so many activity fees included in tuition."

"Emory provides a great learning environment. The best part of Emory is being in the in a center for Public Health with unbeatable opportunities: from the CDC next door to Atlanta based organizations such as CARE and the Carter Center. The faculty are also all very well connected and eager to help students get involved."

"The physician assistant program at Emory is a fantastic program that offers many different avenues for learning such as lectures from current PA's and MD's, recorded lectures, hands on labs, and preceptors at different hospitals and clinics who support you in seeing patients starting your first year. It is a fast paced and intense program so you must be ready to make it a top priority in your life. The only Con is the cost."

"The professors were very resourceful and also aided in my spiritual formation as well as intellectual endeavors. I did the program so that I could get a jump start on research while applying to Ph.D. programs. The program was effective but not all faculty members were willing to work with me. I ended up using two New Testament scholars as mentors and I am in the Old Testament Specialization. The library is phenomenal but the financial aspect discouraged me. There was no financial assistance for me and the officers were not helpful in aiding me with getting a work-study position or outside resources.. That was the worst part of going to Candler School of Theology"

"The Candler School of Theology has some amazing faculty and staff. For the most part, they care about both the academic success and spiritual formation of students. Prior to this year, I would caution any student who was not interested in/called to pulpit ministry or academia to look elsewhere. However, Candler has new degree programs that cater those of us that do not want to pastor or teach."

"The Emory JD Program is a valuable experience in terms of diversity and the ability to learn from knowledgable experts in various law related fields. However, the career center is not very effective in helping students find relevant and interest specific jobs. Additionally, the administration is less than helpful when dealing with any type of issue while maintaining a veneer of helpfulness and friendliness. There is definitely a palpable aspect of the school simply trying to make money with very little interest in ensuring students' mental wellbeing."

"Emory University is the best place to pursue a Master's degree in Public Health. With its prime location in Atlanta, GA, right next to the CDC, Emory University provides students with endless opportunities to gain real, relevant work experience; with a vast network of Emory University alumni; and access to top-notch professors and researchers in the field of public health. If you want to earn your graduate degree in public health, Emory University is your best choice."

"Emory Rollins is a great Public Health graduate program for those interested in global health. The coursework is relevant and the network that Emory has is outstanding. The close location and relationship with the CDC is also a major draw. However, Emory's main focus is research, so this might not be an appropriate school for those on the more practical side of Public Health."

"Emory's MPH program is one of the top in the country for a reason. The Atlanta area and alumna network speak for itself in terms of job opportunities. The program includes a lot of work experience. You graduate with classroom knowledge and work experience."

"Atlanta is an exciting city with a lot of major organizations to get involved with during school. Rollins School of Public Health is very organized and dedicated to its students. It provides a large number of students with a work and earn program scholarship, however does not provide a lot of paid graduate student instructor opportunities that other schools do. Overall, the value is still worth it."

"The Emory University PA Program is second to none. The faculty are all Emory PA Program grads and experts in their area of expertise. They do an amazing job coordinating fellow, resident, and attending lecturers from all the area hospitals ensuring we are getting the most up to date EBM practice information. Our cadaver and skills lab is well run and contains all the supplies needed for successful learning. The surrounding Atlanta area is teaming with amazing restaurants, art, music, and night life for young professionals. The only drawback is the terrible Atlanta traffic and somewhat uncoordinated public transit system. I highly recommend my grad program for all the future PA's out there."

"Emory runs an excellent NS program in terms of both the quality of training and student support. The faculty are fantastic and student body fosters a great academic and social community. In addition to providing some mentorship on careers in academia, there's been increasing focus in recent years on neuroethics and alternative careers for PhDs. There are also many on-campus teaching/mentoring opportunities for PhD students."

"The school combines a rigeurous education with vibrent social scene, all in the context of Atlanta's beautiful and pastoral Druid Hills. Our program's graduates's receive their first picks in terms of post-doctoral careers, making these memorable 5.5 years well worth the work."

"The Emory Neuroscience Program is great, the faculty are much more laid back than at other institutions I interviewed at, and they are super attentive and responsive to feedback from students--which often leads to real, concrete changes in the structure of the program. The culture and environment is one of immense collaboration that is hard to picture until you're here. The pay is better than other institutions but is still low (all grad student stipends are), but it's possible to live off of and have a social life. Overall I can't picture myself being happier in another graduate program anywhere."

"Emory is one of the top programs in the country in this field and a degree from this program will help me be more competitive when it comes to applying for jobs. It is very rigorous training, but that is what makes a good program in this field of study."
