"I am presently in the 3rd semester of my second year. I am proud to say that I have maintained a 3.0 to 3.69 average. The problem is that I needed financial aid to assist me in my endeavors. In the time I have only received three checks, the amount was $512.00 in each check. I asked the financial aid office for an explanation of the disbursement, and I have never been able to get one. Other students have the same complaint."

"I had hands on training on how to do the work. However, there are programs that help students to stay motivated in achieving their goals. I was excited to go to this school and I have earned my Associate's degree. In addition, I am soon pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Science- Business Administration. It is an amazing college for me and I think it would be for others."

"I would only recommend program to anyone who is self motivated with no learning disabilities. I never had any problems with getting help. I had a student advisor who walked with me every step of the way and who was always available to help me. I am not working in my field but the degree helped in my current field and I do use what I have learned. I have no intention of going back to school so I do not know what transfers and what doesn't but if I did go back, it would be to this same school. I even got to walk the stage to receive my diploma and it is currently on my wall."

"I would like to say I am not an employee of Everest. I got an associates degree in marketing from the school and now earn hundred and 120 K plus each year. I did the work and got the degree that I need it but I am now unable to go to a different school that was in no way related to be in the beginning process so now I either have to pay a lot to get my bachelors or start over or fight a lot to transfer my credits not sure which route to take now but my title is limited by my degree I must get a bachelors and do not want it from Everest"

"I saw the commercials and thought wow I love helping people and I need a fresh new start. So like many I called my Rep was awesome. Financial assistance department pushed my start date out a month because they couldnt get my paperwork finalized prior to the start date. Then once I did start they still didn't have things finalized. Which was no problem as I started school was just pulled out of class several times to deal with financial aid. My teachers were amazing, they had many years of knowledge in the field as well as they actively worked in the field as well. Know is where the really crappy part starts. I was told that a month or two before I graduate to go to career services for them to start assisting me in looking for a proper site for me. I went two months before I graduated. I was handed a list printout from the internet and told to cold call places looking for sites that even except externships. So I started and called nearly ever place on my list with no results. So I finally called in favors and got an awesome site with an orthopedic surgeon, whom does not usually except externs but were going to for me. I gave all the information to my career services rep and he was supposed to get in contact with them to set up site visit etc. prior to my graduation so that I could start the following Monday after graduation. I continually asked them status updates and was continually told they had not called or had not heard back from the site. Then Two days before I graduated career services calls me and said they had a part time sight for me. REALLY part time! And this wasn't the site I was requesting. I was told they were going to do site inspection on the wanted site but for me to start at this other site to at least work on my hours. OMG is all I can say I went to the site and it was not following OSHA standards by any means. It was freaking disgusting so I walked out after 4 hours. I asked and asked again and again about my Orthopedic site and continually was given the excuse of not hearing from them. So I said for them to work harder on finding out from them so I could start mostly after the last experience. Then a week later they call me and tell me I am going to be dropped because I hadn't been on a site. So they say my rep is on vacation so they place me into a Urgent care which would have been great but the lead MA called me stupid and a dumb student that knew nothing. So I inquired about my Orthopedic site again and still no response. I am now being told I am going to be dropped again and I have now lost the Orthopedic gig that was a forsure hire, paying above average wages. SO now I wasted all my money to go to this program and since they screwed me over and have not followed thru with anything I am without anything but the debt. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THE LIES! THE EMPTY PROMISES! AND WORST YET THE FINAL DEBT YOUR STUCK WITH!"

"The only thing good about this college was my teachers they actually cared about helping me with my grades and my class assignments. The school harasses you to register with them. They never get your loans set up on time for the new school year I have always had the Department of Education come to my rescue for funding for the next year. I have yet to get my cap and gown I did get a tassel for All A's I never had all A's I had A's and B's and one C my whole time being there. I got a letter in the mail with my tassel that came on a scratch piece of notebook paper that said what the tassel was for and that it was from the Everest CEO -.- I have been looking for work ever sense I also received an e-mail stating that since I was NOT looking for work to return my diploma."

"I attempted to obtain a degree from Everest University Online because of the convenience since I work full time and have 4 children. Had I known then what I know now, I would have NEVER enrolled in this school. I am currently $20,000+ in debt and just recently transferred to another school only to find out that Everest is nationally accredited, but not regionally accredited (regionally being the higher and preferred of the two) so therefore, most if not all of my credits would not be transferable. These people will tell you whatever it takes to get you in the door and get your money. Anytime you call and talk to someone different in the same department you get a different story; there is no consistency whatsoever. I have also heard that people who get their degree from Everest aren't able to get a job once the graduate. I'm glad God spared me before it was too late."

"Everest university online is way too over priced. They leave their students to fend for themselves and are often I reachable in the event of a problem. I do not recommend this school unless you are extremely self motivated and you have no learning disabilities. They give you no breaks and will drive you into the ground. I was told I would graduate in 18 months if I held a full load of classes or 16 units. I did and at the end of 18 months was surprised by two extra classes and a un reachable student center. I would also like to add that the school is not going to be open under its current parent company and is being sold by direction of the federal government. I am supposed to graduate in October but am unsure if that will even happen. I am over 20,000 in debt and not even sure I will have a degree even though I have a 3.94 grade point average. Beware!"

"Everest tells you enough to get you to enroll and use a large portion of your financial aid once you graduate you find yourself in a lot of debt and the credits are pretty worthless. They are nationally accreditted not regionally accredited. I live in Arkansas and am trying to continue my education have not found a school yet to accept credits from Everest University. They suggest I start over due to the worthless Associates degree from Everest University a.k.a. Corithian Colleges."
