"Ive only been in this school for a year. I was able to cram 2 years into one. I would say that this school is nice even though it is a private school it’s not a pricey off campus as people would think. 2 years I would say less between 40-50K spent for the year (2 year) I was here compared to other schools being in the 100K+. I like their study abroad program I was able to be the first to go to Japan for the criminal justice program they also have England and more places. Teachers help you and you build good relationships with some. It helps too that they work in the fields you as a student would want to become so they can definitely help with references/ recommendation letters maybe even help you get a job in their field after graduation.They also have a lot of events and they are fun I only been to a few but if you extroverted or if you are introverted trying to get out their and make friends it’s basically created to make everyone not feel lonely which I do wish I did participate more in.Read Less"

"Fairleigh Dickinson is a solid school with a strong English department. The professors had an open door policy, and a strong ability to enhance my writing and critical thinking skills. I did think that the curriculum was too easy at time, and the entire facility could use an update, but overall, I enjoyed my experience at the University."

"RUN away from this school. I am in the accelerated nursing program and could not be more disappointed with this school's professors, course material, and administration. They lack any organization and communication with their students. Courses change days before the semester starts, classes that should be in person become asynchronous overnight, and the professors, teachers, and administration do not care about their students. I would avoid this school at all costs. It is a waste of your time and money.Read Less"

"Only go to Fairleigh Dickinson University for business, nursing, or engineering because those programs are very successful. However, for any liberal arts majors, run! The only way I would suggest you go to FDU for a liberal arts major is if you minor in the QUEST program to guarantee yourself a teaching job. The tuition is too high to get a degree that does not guarantee a job after graduation. Most people transferred out during my stay there because of finances. It is an extremely expensive school, but it does have the EOF program, which benefited me immensely. Not many people qualify for the EOF program, however. If you want to go to school there, apply for plenty of scholarships.Read Less"

"If you obtain an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from this school, prepare to get your doctorate if you want to do anything with it. Seek education elsewhere. There are thousands of other, more devoted directors you will be proud to be educated under. Run. Fast."

"The private school in New Jersey was what I expected because of the cost. Most people felt they were entitled because of the money and status that their parents had."

"There were many opportunities afforded to be as a graduate of FDU. I feel that their graduate programs are competitive."

"Great School especially on the Madison Campus. But I will caution if you are looking to be well respected in the world of finance or any type or Bank/PE/etc. this degree will basically not be recognized. If you are looking to go into Big 4 you will be all set."

Sadly when I was in college taking classes online was not an option so I cannot comment on their online education programs. The cost is on the high side but the quality of education and reputation of the school measure up."

"I would not recommend FDU. The career counselors were not helpful at all in helping me find a career. There are almost no activities and events to do on campus. The classes weren't challenging at all. Overall, it was a big disappointment."

"If you are looking into Nursing, Engineering or Business, this school is for you. They have excellent programs with good instructors. Being close to NYC, there is opportunities to work or intern in the city. It is a great place to meet people, especially from around the world. It is also a good area if you are going to live on campus; lots of restaurants, stores, and opportunity to make friends with people who commute."

"I am currently working towards a Master's Degree in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice, at the USC. I did my undergrad at FDU which I believe help prepare me for my graduate degree. The program is very rigorous but if you are committed, you can definitely pull through and makes all the sacrifices worth it."

"The school has amazing programs. The professors are pretty awesome. The work load depending on the class may be a little heavy but it definitely prepares you for the outside world. The Veteran Services department is really great. They do an amazing job assisting veterans with their questions and concerns. They always provide great resources that Veterans may need outside of school. I recommend FDU to anyone who is looking for a great education and overall university experience."

"The madison campus was very nice and welcoming the other campus however was very urban and would not be my choice if I were planning to live on campus."
