"Ferrum provided me with the opportunity to grow and thrive in college. During my four years at Ferrum I grew as a person, student, leader, and friend. I wouldn't trade my time at Ferrum for anything, I will forever be thankful for the educators who took time to know me individually and contributed to my successes both at Ferrum and in life."

"Completing my bachelor's degree at Ferrum College was the best decision I could have made when looking for a school. The three and a half years I attended Ferrum were the most fulfilling and exciting years of my life thus far. I chose Ferrum because of the home-like feeling the campus gave me. Professors knew students by name, class sizes were no larger than 28 students, and there were always things to do on campus to have you involved with the school community. As a competitive athlete on the softball team for the college, my professors supported me in the classroom, as well as on the field. For my education classes, each semester I was enrolled in an education course, I had an internship at one of the schools in the county. I had internships at the elementary, middle, and high school level. These internships prepared me more than I could ever imagine before moving into my student teaching placements. I currently teach at one of the elementary schools in the same county and am still very involved with Ferrum's education program!"

"Really enjoy the atmosphere. The classes were small and the professors knew you individually."
