"I absolutely loved the school, campus, professors, department and staff. Extremely helpful MBA program coordinators. Professors go out of way to help and provide assistance. Program itself requires a lot of work (expected and not an easy program and does require effort, time and interest). You have to write a lot (so be prepared). IT support and facilities are great. Campus is beautiful and not far from Boston. Loved the experience and highly encourage others."

"My experience at Fitchburg State University was well worth the price of admission. My instructors were incredibly insightful and I was challenged throughout my undergraduate career. The myriad of required courses helped me with my critical thinking as I learned about subjects that were once foreign to me. For example, Commonwealth of the Arts is a course that will challenge students with no artistic background to think outside of the box. Despite the excellence of the institution, my degree had a minimal impact on my job prospects. Although a bachelor's degree is helpful, my BS in English wasn't versatile in the job market. However, the writing skills I learned at Fitchburg State University have helped my as I pursue my MBA."

"I attended Fitchburg State College at night using the GI Bill. I did this while a US Army military instructor stationed at Fort Devens, MA. Every aspect of Fitchburg was excellent. The teachers were exceptional. My classmates were exceptional. I still remember Dr. Anne May (now deceased) as one of the most professional academics I ever met. She guided me through a US Dept of Health, Education, and Welfare mini-grant (one of only ten issued in the nation) to study military speech disorders among military family children when father absent in Vietnam. The study had a profound impact changing speech disorder treatment of military family children. Dr May continued, by correspondence, to support my publication of a professional paper after I graduated and while stationed in a combat zone. I continued to a second Master's Degree elsewhere and graduation from the Army War College. Today, forty plus years later, I still value every class I attended at Fitchburg State College."

"Great college depending on the major chosen. If the major is highlighted by the college you will get great support to succeed."

"What I enjoyed most about FSC was the size of the campus. I could walk around campus and know a lot of my fellow classmates - regardless if they were in my business classes or not. A nice small campus, great intramural sports, great teachers at a fair cost."

"I very much enjoyed my time at Fitchburg. The communications program is the best, all the professors are industry professionals and they teach you a lot. I was promoted in under 9 months because of knowledge and I contribute that to my great professors. The campus is nice and small with everything in walking distance. I personally loved that all I had to do was cross the street to go to class. The buildings are being constantly updated. The surrounding community had been improving over the years as the school expands and puts money back into the community. Overall I would definitely recommend the comm media program."

"Fitchburg State is great for communications media, specifically film/video production. The teachers are great and really know what they're doing. There's not too much to do around the area but there are plenty of clubs and events at the school. However, as a film student the area offers many different types of locations and is great for filming. A lot of buildings and areas have recently been updated, rebuilt, remodeled, etc. so it is new and nice. It's not too big of a school so eventually everyone knows most everyone and the people are great."

"My overall experience at Fitchburg State University was positive. Getting involved on campus was the key to being happy on campus. The clubs and campus center is the life of the campus and has many opportunities for creating relationships, networking, or even a great campus job. The general classes are ok, with small class sizes and good professors. My program is the communications media program. Overall I love the program. The professors are smart and well experienced in the field. Small class sizes allow for a greater learning experience. Classes are hands on - many of them involve creating client projects for real clients, creating real work to show for a portfolio and resume. The professional communications classes are challenging but are greatly worth it in the end. Overall, I recommend fitchburg state for it's Comm. media program , for the wonderful experience, education , and price."
