"Pro....second chance opportunity for those who did not do so well in undergrad. Con....forced to do a lot of self teaching."

"The JD program is very demanding and requires endless hours of studying. The rigorous curriculum prepares students well for the BAR exam."

"Florida A&M University equipped us with everything we needed to enter the world. As a student our professors were available to us, resources were provided in order to help us complete assignments, we were encouraged by faculty and by our fellow classmates. I wish that our core curriculum could have begun much sooner in our matriculation at the University so that we would have had more time to focus on our area of interest."

"Cons are the lack of direction and structure. There was barely any guidance before you chose your major professor. Pros once in te program and your project is determined you are left to independently work and master your project and write your thesis. Professors were result available to answer any questions or concerns."

"I appreciate all that my graduate program has to offer. I feel that the quality of the work demanded of us is a great challenge that I am glad to be able to be a part of. The other students taking part in the program are also great to deal with. They enjoy helping each other out and working together for the benefit of the class. I have no real issues with the functionality of the prgram and I am enjoying being a part of it and I look forward to continuing my education."

"My graduate program gives an opportunity for students who may not look "exceptional" on paper to pursue a graduate degree. The cost of education is reasonable and the curriculum is thorough. The cons of this program are not major. Financial aid is often dispersed late and the available technology is not "world-class"."

"Instructors really cared. Professional Development courses that taught us everything that we needed to know about succeeding in the business world. Fortune 500 companies recruited our students. Challenging workload. Created the "boardroom" atmosphere which brought senior executives in and allowed us to ask questions. We were managers and leaders of our own companies and we served in our positions throughout the semester. We were REQUIRED to do 3 paid internships throughout the program. Great exposure!! Not to mention, it was a 5-year MBA program. So when you start as a freshman, you complete 5 years of coursework (and 3 interships over the summer) and graduated with your MBA. The only con (at the time that I attended) was that their weren't many companies that recruited for those students who had a marketing concentration, like myself."

"The pros is this program starts off with having small class sizes and being able to have a lot of one on one action with the professors. Being that I am new the the program as far a cons I would not say that there is anything wrong with the program thus far."

"Work load is very challenging in first year maybe hard for some to balance, but that is typical at most Law Schools. Professors are amazing and helpful. Tradition is strong and Alumni are active and involved. Legal professionals in the area are accessible and friendly.Student development programs are available and have been very helpful to my success at school."

"The Doctor of Pharmacy program was a great experience. The course s were challenging. However, with the knowledge and and support from faculty members, the program was manageable. Upon the completion of the program, career placement is available at the school through career fairs. Despite of my great experiences, reaching financial aid office in a timely manner was a challenge. However, the knowledge I gain from this program is tremendous."

"The pros of my graduate program include the tight network of professors who are genuinely concerned about how we all are progressing. They try their best to be available to us after class, through email and even through text messages. The con of this graduate program is that the financial aid process is very tedious and the ability to afford to pay tuition AND cover other expenses is barely possible. All in all, it is a great doctorate program for any student that wishes to apply."

"FAMU has given me the tools I need to be successful in the "real world". Lessons taught in the classroom are just as useful as the social skills I've gained while a student there."
