"This school is a waste of time. You could buy the books and probably teach yourself ALOT faster. Half the teachers try, while the other half just collect a paycheck. The administration seems corrupt and totaly out-of-sync with the students and faculty. This school is just a Federal funding scam in my opinion. They get you enrolled, get your money, get the governments money and send you off to find the lies all while promising " Things will get better...", and they don't. With the amount of money they recieve from students and from loans, the conditions should be ALOT better. In 2007 they were investigated by the Feds for Loan Fraud. Think about that.....The "Career Services" department is a joke, and not a funny one. They will help you put together a resume, and that's about it. I don't know if this is different for the medical students, but they have almost no IT job placement abilities. Since i've been here, they have replaced the whole department with no improvement. I've seen 3 different directors so far, and i've seen many other faculty members come and go rather quickly. I honestly would not suggest this school to anyone for IT or Networking. You can learn more on your own without spending ALOT of money. The only real Certification you will recieve is your A+ from CompTia. You will have to buy the vouchers yourself too, it is NOT included in your tuition! Oh, and any credits earned are NOT transferable!Anyone can get the A+ certification by spending ~$500 on the vouchers and study materials, spending a couple months studying, and then taking the 2 tests required. Even if you need a PC, it's only ~$600 for a moderately fast system that will meet all your educational needs. And the A+ Cert. is more important than any "Diploma" that this school could ever give you.So why spend all that money for a bunch of "Intro" classes and only one important Certification class? I honestly feel ripped off and lied too, on top of being ignored."

"You can tell the praises below are written by the college itself. The language comes straight from their promotion. Also, the level of writing skills does not represent the typical student that attends. Talk to someone who really attends before buying this."

"I felt the people at Florida Career College took a geniune interest in me and my career. The faculty were extremely knowledgeable and had all worked in the fields they taught. There "real world" experience better prepared me for what to really expect once I was working. My only complaint is that communication from the career center could be better. I had to leave several messages before getting calls back., I feel I am much better positioned to move forward in my career."

"Florida Career College's online program gave me the flexibility to complete my education while juggling a family and a full time job. I took classes when my schedule allowed. However, I never felt alone during this process. Online tools such as chat sessions, message boards and virtual classrooms, made me feel connected to both faculty and friends. My degree opened up new doors for me in my career and I am going to take advantage of my new skils."
