"Anything I rated 5 stars is rated because I am not a florida resident, so I cannot speak on the surrounding area or campus life. But I am thank for the opportunity that Florida Tech has provided me, not having to submit GRE/GMAT scores was really important in the factor of time and choosing a program. So far, the program is well structured and the instructors are supportive, engaging and have an 'open door' policy even though this is an online program. I highly recommend it to anyone interested."

"I struggle with many of the reviews here as I spent a great deal of time looking at both brick and mortar and online schools. Some of the schools I reviewed before making my selection were the University of Florida (my alma mater- GO GATORS) , Florida State University, University of North Florida, University of Central Florida and Jacksonville University. Each of these schools, with the exception of FSU, are within 90 minutes of driving from my home with JU and UNF being right around the corner, however I made the choice to attend FIT for 2 reasons. FIT is 100% online which means I could listen to lectures on my timeline as I work full-time. This school is no different then UF, which I attended 15 + years ago, they certainly had/have issues however the education was no different. When I attended UF I could watch professors lecture on the TV at my home, buy the video, or attend the classes and I never had the opportunity to speak with many of them directly. FIT is no different, I start classes with 20-30 other students, much smaller than my UF classes with 1000 students in Marketing, and finish with 70% of them, I have had some professors who respond quickly to emails and other who don't at all, some fellow classmates who are active group members and others who are not. The discussion boards tend to be just that discussion boards quick comments by some and verbose comments by others. The other reason I chose to attend FIT was because it is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and School Commission which is the same organization that accredits the University of Florida and is permitted to award doctorate degrees just like other state run universities. A similar program at UF, which was not 100% online but required a once a month onsite visit for 27 months cost about $55,000 when I looked the last time versus the $32,000 at FIT. This education is just like any other it is what you make of it, if you are looking to be spoon fed the information and not have to read the book and write a lot of papers using APA format then this school is not for you. The folks from University Alliance are interesting for sure, I have been through 3 different advisers so far and I expect to have another one before I finish in August this year, it is March now. They are part of the reason I believe the cost is almost twice the amount of UNF per course, however they are a private college and they tend to run a little more plus it is 100% online so there is something to be said for that. It is still cheaper then UF and I don't have drive there, spend the night in a hotel, and drive back! These are just my thoughts, somewhat stream of consciousness, no matter what you decide FIT, UF, Timbucktoo you will only get out what you put into it! Good luck!"

"I currently work in the Logistics field and FIT was the only school in Florida offering a masters in this field. I wanted to support a local school vs another school in another state. I am thankful for the online classes as I live on the West Coast, but slightly apprehensive about the coursework learning online. I am one not to back down from a challenge and expect the program to be very fulfilling. I greatly enjoy the field of Logistics/Supply Chain and extending my knowledge will increase my opportunities whether with my current employer or another company."

"I love the convenience of Florida Techs online program. I am able to work full time and earn my graduate degree. I am learning a lot despite the distance from my professors. I do not think that the professors are open to assisting online students. I have sent several emails that have literally gone unanswered. I am not sure if this is a part of their approach to online learning or if they are just too bust to respond."

"I feel as though I am actually earning my degree, compared to other "degree mills". I wish there was more financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Also, the teachers are hit-or-miss with their involvement and interaction level with the classes. My best classes were when I had an involved teacher."

"Very rigorous. Started online in 2011 and finished right on time in 2013. It definitely is not for the faint of heart. People think online is easy - however you better have your act together and be a self motivator. Great experience putting together formal education with my experience."
