I am currently enrolled in a masters programs at FIT and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The course load can be challenging, but the instructors, that I have had, have been quite helpful and accommodating.
Thankfully, I have not dealt with the issues that my fellow reviewers have experienced. I hope they seek and obtain a resolution to their problems. The admissions and enrollment counselors have gone above and beyond my expectations as well. They may want to start there.

Tammy probably get paid by University Alliance. The instructor I'm having here, is incompetent. He has a Ph.D. but on a different subject(discipline), that is not related with the class he's teaching (e.g. PhD in geography, teaching IT security). Instructor knows no better than the online students, based on very poor(lack) of communication. When students ask further questions about the subject, normally it's ignored, until another week passed by, and forgotten. Not much activity in this class. Out... Read More

In the Florida Tech Online / University Alliance scam demo, there's a video of a professor lecturing. But that's not what you get. The ones on the video called "original professors", but the ones you get are not the one you see on the video. And yes, they're not experienced (novice) type of professors. Feel cheated!!!

You have to use turnitin to stop plagerism period. Any online school will use a program like this if they are worth going to. Yes the class load is hard sometimes but I would say no more so than going to a campus. If you want easy go to a degree mill, if you want to learn from a good ranking school this is it. In accounting classes we have to write an essay every week to post on the message board and it was graded. They give excessive homework in accounting every week. All their instructors are contracted out from other schools. If you have 25-40 hours a week to study for just one class, it is a good school, otherwise find another on-line school. I will say this good thing about this school:They are ranked one of the best university in the country according to US News and World Report.
