"They feed you a lot of good details stating how flexible they are. I'm a single mom I was able to push through the 1st semester but I finally had to drop the program due to work. They charged me $5,000 for leaving early which is ridiculous when I ask for a break down of all these charges they never sent one but continue to harass me for it I wish I never went."

"I was a graduate of Fortis College. Something that I was proud to say until recently. I was also an employee. Something else I was was proud to say. I worked hard to get where I was only to have it taken away at the whim of upper management. These people do not personally care about you as they advertise as an employee I know. You are just a student. Upper management could care less if you succeed. They just want you to enroll. Believe me that is all the admissions team cares about. Once your there your success is not something that the Mobile, Alabama campus cares about. They just want you to stay so that they can get the tuition fee that each student earns them. Part of my job was to get students who had dropped out to return. It didn't matter how I got them there just do it. If a student did not show up Ikr quit then it was my fault. By the way I was a department chair person. I know that if the current Dean of education did not like you, you were a problem for her and you must go. Please save yourself the headache enroll in a traditional college, at least they do not pretend to care about your success. You can become a pharmacy tech dental assistant medical assistant or any of the other career choices offered at Fortis College WITHOUT going to school. You can receive on job training. In most states you can contact a board or certification exam and get your licenses. Take my advise there is no reason to attend this school. It is a horrible choice. I should know I have had the experience from both sides of the table."

"I DID MY STUDIES AT FORTIS COLLEGE TO BECOME A CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN AND IT TOOK ONLY NINE MONTHS. THE SCHOOL IS VERY NICE AND THE HANDS ON TRAINING IS GREAT BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR ACTUALLY IN THE WORK PLACE BECAUSE OF HOW THE PHARMACY LAB IS SET UP. THE PROFESSORS ARE EXCELLENT AND I LEARNED A LOT FROM THEM AND MY EXPERIENCE AT THE SCHOOL WAS AWESOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS OR STRANGERS TO THE SCHOOL. THE WHOLE STAFF IS NICE AND I ENJOYED IT AND AT THE SAME TIME I MADE NEW FRIENDS."

"I would not recommend anybody Fortis on campus. The instructors are real cold hearted. I lasted the first module and wanted an increase on my loan.after I signed for a loan increase they forbid to give me my money."

"I'm currently finishing up the pharm tech program here, and overall I'm very disappointed. Over half the things they said we would be doing in the admissions tour never happened. The curriculum calls for a good ammount of hands on experience that we never ever saw. I feel totally ripped off after the outrageous tuition (over 15k) and all we ever did was read out of a book and handouts. Not to mention the drama and in fighting among teachers and students is unlike anything I've ever seen. Only reason this might help is to get basic knowledge of the field and it's requirements for licensing etc."
