"I believe that this school is perfect for someone that wants to major in a business type field. As far as all of the negative reveiws for the nursing program, wouldn't you think medical students should be more hands on? Just my opinion. They have been extremely insightful and are always there to help with whatever I need. I would definately reccomend this school to others. Actually my wife will start very soon. Keep up the good work you guys!"

"This school is a scam. It is not what it seems when you first sign up. They are all nice and smiles in the beginning, but then as the semesters go on they treat you like s**t. All they want is money. Financial aid is a joke, some of the teachers are a joke, and the deans, haha. Wow, this school is a waste of time and i would never recommend it to anyone. Try another school. They are not very helpful when it comes to skills, all they do is criticize you, especially the Head Nursr for the Medical Assisting program. They are not as they seem. It's only 3-5 students in every class. Alot of people have left this school because it is a joke. They are very unprofessional and rude. DO NOT GO TO FORTIS COLLEGE IN RAVENNA, OHIO. Go to a different school."

"Complete waste of time and money. The degree is useless and no other college except other fake schools will accept it. Most expensive mistake I've ever made."

"I have found the classes both instructional and interesting. 2 of my instructors are prior Military so their expierence brings alot to their teaching ability. I have been to two other schools in the area that I live in and I have to say that the other two school have NO INTEGRITY! I really enjoy my classes and look foward to completing my courses."

"I graduate in three months. I have been here for a year and 3 months. As far as learning x-ray, yes you will learn. You have to. And you will get out with an xray degree. It is individual based though. If you want this you have to learn it. The teacher turn over has been ridiculous. it is so micro-managed its not even funny. As far as the treatment of students, its awful! They will never help you with anything. Over the past year and a half I and many other class mates have had a few issues and simple fixes. This school will not help a student. They will lie to you to get you here. They will put a smile on their face and say they will help you, but in the end will not. They don't care once you spend your money here. Anything I have succeed here was me doing it on my own. I have a student tech job, on my own. The school its self has not helped. Not much teaching, just test every week. They will make you promises about scheduling, you will turn everything around to adhere to those and then they turn it around last minute and wont budge. Look into General. You get a real associates. And by real, I mean it transfers, Fortis associates almost don't transfer anywhere. I actually cant find one that they do transfer to. So if you want to get a bachelors you have to start over. The school is so disorganized and the communication with students is slim to none. This school is going down hill fast. The classes behind us only have maybe 3-5 students. They try to say its because they only accept excellence but really it is because no one wants to go here. If I could start over I would look some where different. It is too late for me, I am almost done. And I enjoy x-ray school, its this school that I don't enjoy. Good luck and just make sure to look into other programs."

"I was in my second to last term as a nurse completing my ASN. I have certificates for Presidents list, Deans list, Honor roll, and perfect attendance. I had A's in all my classes with 95% test average. I was kicked out of the program. No specifics, merely 'didn't know her place as a student' and 'know it all', absolutely no coaching, just gone. This school will kick you out because they don't like you, and they can do it legally because they are a for profit."

"The worst experience I have ever encountered. The most unorganized program you can imagine. Half the time we did not have an instructor, then when we did they would quit in the middle of our semester! Our pediatric clinicals were held at a daycare! I completed a whole semester only to be told that technically I should not have been allowed to progress to the second semester or third because I had received a 74% instead of 78% in anatomy in the FIRST semester!! I had written a letter of extenuating circumstances due to my fathers death and my mothers diagnosis of pancreatic cancer during the first semester and the DEAN of the NURSING program stated to me..Life happens and you should have dropped out of nursing school when your father died..., wow, not the kind of an example a DEAN of NURSING should be setting, and not the kind of one I want to follow. She dismissed me from the program, which was fine, would be embarrassed to have a degree from that school!!"

"The admissions guaranteed Expariance Exceptionalism in the quality of instructors, this is a lie!!! The instructor and chair of the HIT has no Expariance, knowledge, or practice in this field along with the subjects needed to pass the RHIT examination. This college IS waists of time, money and energy Do Not go to Fortis College Ravenna,Ohio Check out all the reviews by past, and current students. None of them recommend this college. Reported to College Affiliates and corporate. No changes ever made."

"The people at the intake are great and very friendly etc, once you have signed up and they get your student loan money the fun begins, 1/2 of the teachers don't care and allow the class room to be an unruly chaotic disaster ( almost akin to a tsunami, students yell ,they cuss and tell each other off at top of lungs ,its ghetto at best) sadly for those of us who want to learn hearing what the teacher has to say is next to imposable. I had a clinical instructor fall asleep and students were laughing and taking pictures of teacher asleep on job. Students openly cheat and teachers read emails and play on phones during test time its twilight zone at best. The dean is nice but I feel he is obvious to the situation and should sit in on more classes and or ask the teacher to leave class every now and then ask us, the people who make his pay check possible what we feel about how we are treated and taught!"
