"I agree with J.. I just recently started Fortis College and i read all the "bad" reveiws on this website and still chose to enroll. I am quite impressed! You get out what you put in and so fer i put in 100% of effort this first semester and got out STRAIGHT A'S. Now grant it there is one instructor that i dont quite understand or like.... but this instructor is a great instructor...and besides im not there to like anybody..im there the get a quality education and that it what i have been getting thus far...i did not get any stpend money back but that was because a couple things i had to do in order to start class(i.e. immunizations) i could not afford so i utilized their voucher program and had the services charged to my account. But as of yet i have had no real gripe about this college. I am only speaking of my experience with fortis collge-columbus ohio campus. i have not utilized career services so i cannot speak on them but the couple times i did talk to them they seemed to be ready and willing to ASSIST students as much as they can. admission was great.... if you do decide to go to fortis college columbus ohio campus please do not let all the negativity deter you.... go to school and put your all into it focus on your studies and be serious and i guarantee you will be quite pleased with this school. I sure am. im so glad i came to this school. the nursing program i am in is accelerated..... but i am a fast learner and so far has had no problems with that either."

"I am in the medical assistant program and I have had great teachers but one. The scales are broken but they just got a new one. I feel they can update the equipment because half of the things are broken. You will find they have some great hands on teachers like Ms R and Ms C, one teacher is very lazy, ms m and she talks about nonschool things going on in her life and will use the same powerpoint, she cant even bring herself to take the time and go through the homework so she gives a completion grade.I am nervous in the end but you get back what you put into it. SO IF YOU DONT STUDY AND TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN YOU WONT DO WELL"

"I went to Fortis with the same concerns most students had. I am glad I went there because I have had friends that graduated from other schools and they have not had the same success as me. My intructors were always attentive and the students around me were friendly."

"I can't believe that fifty percent of people would recommend this school. My husband, my nephew and I have all had horrible experiences with this school. It is literally like someone said "hey lets throw a school together." They charged me twice for registration fee and I have still yet to be paid back. The online classes are so simple, there is zero learning. I had to go ahead of my classes because I wasn't being challenged. The teachers take forever to write back and if you ever want to switch from online to their campus...Oh my gosh... They act like a desperate boyfriend or girlfriend and you're breaking up with them. Then my schedule changed and I wanted to return to online classes, they said that not all of my credits would transfer and I had to write a two page letter explaining why I left school, which I didn't do I just went to their physial classroom, and promise that I will never do it again. It's just insane. I do not do not do not recommend anybody going here. It's just a mad house."

"they will do and say whatever you need to hear to get you into this school. I am yet to meet a student satisfied. The teachers are lazy and dont know their stuff. The lab is a joke, everything is out of date and never works. They say you are in a lab most the time (hvac) but they dont even have equipment to keep you in there. waste of money and time do not go!!"

"I am sharing this review of Fortis College Online from Centerville, OH. I personally loved the school. Everyone I came in contact with (and there were A LOT of people) were so helpful. The instructors were there ANYTIME you needed them. They offered their email addresses and their phone numbers (and sometimes even their cell numbers). I could not have asked for a better student adviser. She was absolutely wonderful. Anytime I had a question, concern or anything she was there. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants a caring faculty and a positive atmosphere."

"I am a single mother, work full time, and found this to be a great option for me. I had an excellent relationship with my admissions advisor and my financial aid representative. I am still attending and enjoy my classes! When ever I need assistance I know I can call them if I need anything."

"I went to Fortis College to complete my application process and paid $45.00 dollars. When I spoke to a Rep she told me that I needed a higher GPA from my previous PN program to attend this college and told me that she will refund what i paid by sending it in a form of a check. When I looked up the information about admission requirements, I did not find this info anywhere. I am truly dissapointed with their ethical practices."

"Save your money. This school is over priced. Your better off taking this at a technical college. Their pass rate is 1 out of 50. Their staff is very unprofessional. The program is unorganized. They don't provide the proper hands on traing. They pretend through assesments. They don't use acutual equipment. It's not ran like a college. Please research the school's pass rate and pricing to other schools.Their EMS dept is horrible. They are not organized or professional. Please research the school's national pass rate before entering. They are triple the price of technical colleges that offers the same program. The school is filthy. Their bathroom is always out of order. The air condition has not worked for months. Please research other schools before making your decision."

"I have a degree in criminal justice from RETS. I didnt have any problems with this school. I loved going to RETS. The only thing i did not like was I did not get any of my grant or loan money sent to me. I did not like that because what ever was left I wanted it sent to me, but they did send it to my loan lender. All the money that was left was sent directly to them and I did get receipts for everything they sent to the loan company. Even though i wanted my money, it will be better for me in the long run if it were sent to the loan lender because that money has to be paid back anyway."
