"Fortis is a joke, they are quick to take your money but after that you are just a number. No one can answer a question for you in management, they will write down a lot of info but it goes no where.Instructors for the most part have no education experience and just read power point to you.Hello you can read on your own.A don't expect to go to dean or assistant dean you will get no help from them.Save your money be patient and get into a state college and save your self the headaches and expense.Trust me on this."

"This school does not care about the student body at all! There only concern is money! They are disorganized, tell you one thing and do something different. They have instructors teaching classes that have no experience in the specialty, they will not return your calls or emails. The previous graduating class had to hire an attorney!!! I can not even begin to tell you the aggravation and distress this school has caused!!! Please, please, please do not waste your time and money at this sham of a school. It has been torture to watch my husband suffer through this horrible experience."

"I am an ASN graduate of the last Rets class after Fortis College took over the Centerville school in Ohio. After 5 yrs I decided to go back to school for my BSN I called 4 times in 2 weeks the registrar to have transcripts sent no replies. Unprofessional and disappointing my class had a 97% pass rate on NcLEX that helped get them out of academic accreditation trouble. I have already enrolled at a school for my BSN but I can't get into the school without official transcripts being sent. I have limited time and I don't reside in Ohio anymore. The website doesn't not allow me to take care of this item I have to speak with the registrar office who never answer the phone or their voicemails. I am have my family drive 45 mins to the school so I can further my education."

"Fortis College Cutler Bay is a very welcoming school. The staff is extremely helpful and are about the students. I am currently a nursing student. The professors are willing to meet with you whenever you need help. The school offers night time classes which is extremely convenient for those who work. You are able to finish within two years."

"I DID MY STUDIES AT FORTIS COLLEGE TO BECOME A CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN AND IT TOOK ONLY NINE MONTHS. THE SCHOOL IS VERY NICE AND THE HANDS ON TRAINING IS GREAT BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR ACTUALLY IN THE WORK PLACE BECAUSE OF HOW THE PHARMACY LAB IS SET UP. THE PROFESSORS ARE EXCELLENT AND I LEARNED A LOT FROM THEM AND MY EXPERIENCE AT THE SCHOOL WAS AWESOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS OR STRANGERS TO THE SCHOOL. THE WHOLE STAFF IS NICE AND I ENJOYED IT AND AT THE SAME TIME I MADE NEW FRIENDS."

"I truly believe my success at passing the NCLEX, for the first time and with only 75 questions, is due to the Kaplan review and resources provided. Kaplan is created based on the NCLEX and is extremely similar to the style of questions and how the questions are worded. I highly suggest continuing with Kaplan! Also, Roy Hamlin is a great resource. He takes his personal time out of his day and helps students succeed and creates an unique plan for each individual person. If you go to him for help, he goes above and beyond his duties. Through out my time at Fortis I enjoyed the smaller classroom experience and the professors that truly connected with the students and provided great resources. The professors that truly helped me through my time, showed they cared, and had an understanding of the struggles students go through, as well as providing support and inspiration. the professor that stuck with me and touched my heart are Professor Cruz, Aroacha, and Dozier. These professors truly have an enormous amount of knowledge and their deliverance technique is stupendous."

"I have been enrolled at Fortis College for two years; I am now at the end of the program. I used to work in the nursing field back home, but when I came here, in this Big Country where the language is different, the laws are strict, and multiple cultures are interacting, I realized that I had to go back to School in order to be able to adapt and continue practicing my Profession. I was looking for a School that could help me carry out my goals and I found Fortis College that is located at 3 minutes from my house. So far, I can say that this School fit my needs. Not only it implements a tough program which can prepare the students for a successful career, but the people who compose the staff are also very nice and responsible. I have wonderful experiences with them, especially Dr. Lisa Evoy (the Dean of Nursing). While I am at the school as student, I am also a mother of two small kids and I work full time (40 hours, five days a week). I am so busy that I feel overwhelmed sometimes and asking if I will survivre; however, the Dean is always there to encourage me to go foward, she always shows understanding when I go talk to her. She is very supportive and she often tries her best to satisfy student requests. I recommend Fortis College, my School, to anyone who wants to become a professional in the nursing field."

"I attended Fortis College in Cutler Bay, Florida and its the worst school anyone can attend. The administrative staff like financial aid and student services are great people but the Dean and the majority of the professors are a problem. Back in June 2014 a group took the HESI exit exam which is the last nursing exam one has to take to be able to graduate and the entire group ADN and BSN somehow found the answers and cheated and all scored almost perfect scores. Then came time to take the NCLEX and no one passed until in the past recent months after intense boot camp a little bit less than half passed the NCLEX. Because of this group every one after them has had to suffer and have to endure the hardest HESI exit exams there are. The June 2014 group got Version 1_D and since apparently there are 6 versions to this exam, we were given versions 3 retake 4 and those that didn't passed and had to retake it, on their second try they got version 4 retake 4! like c'mon how in the world you are going to be giving retake exams to students when you haven't even given them the chance to take the initial exam of each version?! This school is a total mess, they are extremely short staffed, they hardly have any clinical sites, up until I finished in September they only had 2 clinical sites and one of them was going to be the last time the school was going to be allowed to send students. On top of it all THEY ARE NOT ACCREDITED so if you decide to transfer to another school guess what? you aren't going to be able to transfer credits and continue your education you are GOING TO HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!! Please save yourself your money and most importantly time which is what you will never get back."

"Pathetic!! We have had an instructor leave during the semester every quarter. The administration at the Westerville ohio campus blames the students for everything and has totally forgotten that we the students pay their salaries. We teach ourselves the material because the instructors they do have either don't speak English or read off of powerpoints and test on subjects that are not taught. The clinicals consist of the students standing around or making ice cream sundaes for 8 hours. The lab has non working equipment and the instructor has admitted she has never done some of the required skills on a live person."

"I chose to attend Fortis College in high hopes that receiving certification and my RMA would help me find a career in the health field. After graduating I was extremely disappointed to say the least. The instructors are ok, I would say only one (clinical instructor) was amazing. She was in tune with her class, and showed great interest in her students' success. After our schooling we were to complete a 6 week "externship". The head of the Medical Assistant program who was in charge of that never seemed to be interested in the needs of the students, and just threw the students anywhere for their externship hardly researching the facilities. The office I was in was GHETTO and unprofessional. Mind you we were stuck there for 6 weeks. Every time I tried to find an externship on my own he would NEVER follow up with the facilities so I had no choice. I understand that it is the students job to work hard to find their own employment after the program, however we were fed all of these lies about how amazing career services at the school was. I applied for jobs of my own however, every single "lead" they gave me and interview they sent me on were at run down out of date doctors offices that seemed shady, that only offered minimum wage with no benefits. When I asked them to follow up with the jobs I applied for like I was told, they just made excuses like " Oh I don't have a connect for that office" or "I know I won't be able to get in touch with the employer". If that's the case why are you here? It was almost like they were just trying to reach a quota instead of actually trying to send their students that paid over 16,000 to attend a 9 month training program to solid legit doctors offices and/or hospitals. I just ended up working with the company I was employed with before Fortis. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Attend another training school!"

"I believe that this school is perfect for someone that wants to major in a business type field. As far as all of the negative reveiws for the nursing program, wouldn't you think medical students should be more hands on? Just my opinion. They have been extremely insightful and are always there to help with whatever I need. I would definately reccomend this school to others. Actually my wife will start very soon. Keep up the good work you guys!"

"This school is a scam. It is not what it seems when you first sign up. They are all nice and smiles in the beginning, but then as the semesters go on they treat you like s**t. All they want is money. Financial aid is a joke, some of the teachers are a joke, and the deans, haha. Wow, this school is a waste of time and i would never recommend it to anyone. Try another school. They are not very helpful when it comes to skills, all they do is criticize you, especially the Head Nursr for the Medical Assisting program. They are not as they seem. It's only 3-5 students in every class. Alot of people have left this school because it is a joke. They are very unprofessional and rude. DO NOT GO TO FORTIS COLLEGE IN RAVENNA, OHIO. Go to a different school."

"I have found the classes both instructional and interesting. 2 of my instructors are prior Military so their expierence brings alot to their teaching ability. I have been to two other schools in the area that I live in and I have to say that the other two school have NO INTEGRITY! I really enjoy my classes and look foward to completing my courses."
