"This school is awful. They start out really strong- the professor for advanced patho is absolutely incredible (Dr. Faucett- you’re amazing). The advanced assessment class is good too. The only other course that’s worth a damn in the FNP program was FNP3 by Dr. Edsen. This is a great school if you want to teach yourself everything with practically no support. There’s some live courses, but often times you won’t be able to attend because they’re live on the professors random schedule vs when you can work to attend them. Also an amazing university if you’d like absolutely no help whatsoever in finding your clinical rotations. Even if you find them, they’ll still do their very best to keep you from succeeding by delaying your credentialing process until less than 24 hours prior to our start. It’s a great school if you’d like to make very poor impressions on future colleagues who were willing to precept you. It’s also an amazing school if you’d like to pay excessive fees to see a campus that you’ll only be at for a total of seven days throughout the entire program, just to be promised time with the “president” or the university which instead was a meeting to ask for donations and hear about a “cruise” for the school. I’d also highly recommend this school to anyone who loves being disrespected, doubted, and belittled for your efforts. Ive had the pleasure of experiencing this multiple times. I do think I’ll be a well prepared provider because of my own efforts, not thanks to the university. I’m thankful for preceptors who have helped me and guided me. I’m also thankful to never participate in anything this school has for me in the future. The price makes sense."

"Completing my doctorate degree at Frontier Nursing University was the best investment that I could make financially, professionally and academically. The campus is breath taking. You get the best of distance education with a brick and mortar feel of a traditional classroom. Classes while on campus are literally held in an historic barn. They have an innate grass-roots feel that really speaks to the heart and history of the profession and advancement of nursing! They have been at the forefront since the beginning of midwifery and advanced practice. This is a very nurturing and high rigorous program much different from my previous academic experiences. If you are looking to be part of something different and the change you want to see in the world, choose Frontier!"

"Frontier Nursing University enabled me to complete my education goals from home. I am able to take classes online and do clinical rotations from my home town with certified clinicians. I have more flexibility to study more because I don't have to drive to campus. I love the rigors of the program."

"Very memorable learning experience with committed and driven educators. These educators lead by example and want students to succeed. They are passionate about course material and can make it applicable to real-life situations. Students are motivated to become engaged in learning opportunities, fostering change and growth on the part of the student (a cornerstone to any successful learning opportunity). Leadership and communication skills are vital the success of students and are universal qualities, regardless of subject matter. This provides a lesson for the participants of the courses, imparting skills that last long after the course is over."

"The Frontier Nursing University master's in nursing curriculum is based on the foundation of the first American-trained nurse midwives and nurse practitioners. Established by one of Kentucky's best nurses, Mary Breckinridge, Frontier is a well known program that prepares new pioneers in today's healthcare."

"Frontier Nursing University has been very helpful thus far in the admissions process and makes the information for Frontier Bound plain and simple so there is no confusion. They even make it easier to students and have a shuttle bus that will take you from the airport to the school. I have taken one course so far and the online portal is very easy to use. So far I highly recommend this school and everyone I have talked to at the school has been very pleasant."
