"I attended a satellite campus and took some online courses. It was nice to have the flexibility to choose alternate classes."

"I highly recommend Frostburg State University to start your educational career. I earned my bachelors in biology as a pre-professional track and a minor in animal behavior. I had amazing advisors throughout my entire educational career. They were able to give me crucial information in order to continue my career into veterinary school. My other teachers were always willing to help and support me through tough times in school and personal life. There are also many opportunities all over campus for everybody from clubs and organizations to jobs and internships. I had the opportunity to work with the colony of monkeys on campus for 3 years and was able to expand from caretaker to researcher. There were many outlets to help find internships during school or over the breaks. I never felt I was missing out on anything because I attended a smaller university."

"I loved Frostburg State University. The teachers were always able to answer my questions, it was easy to apply for aid, it was easy to order books, and the campus has a small town feeling with lots of things to do every night. The food was great there are several options on campus to choose from and there is always a bus to take you where you need to go. I really enjoyed the Social Work Program and all of the teachers they really want you to succeed in your education and in life. As a non-traditional student this was a great college for me."

"Frostburg State University was a great school for me. I was able to work during the day and earn my Master's degree in School Counseling in the evening. Frostburg State was a close drive from my home which was one of the main reasons I chose to go there. They are also known to have an excellent education program which is another reason I chose to go there. I had great teachers while at Frostburg State and felt prepared to be a school counselor."

"This was one of the absolute best schools I have ever attended (I've been to three). The staff want you to succeed and will do anything to help you. I learned more than most other schools offer because Frostburg focuses on special education as well I'm the education curriculum. Fellow colleagues don't know acronyms that I learned because they never encountered them in their undergrad school. I am very thankful for all I have learned and really glad I attended that university."

"The MAT program at Frostburg State is a 1 year program, which is wonderful. Most schools stretch this program out into 2 years, but Frostburg condenses it down, allowing its students to get into teaching that much sooner. This has its ups and downs; there is added pressure, as none of the workload or expectations are cut out, but the ability to graduate with a Master's degree in 1 year is worth the added pressure."

"The pros of my program is the flexibility of being on campus and being online. The professor are very friendly and hands on. I also have the ability of being able to take a variety of classes with my program. I really don't have any cons of the program thus far."

"I like that I am able to work towards my MBA online without ever stepping foot on campus. As I am an online student, I am disadvantaged when it comes to the social and teamwork environment that living on campus offers. In addition, my scholarship, loan and grant opportunities seem rather scarce."

"I am an online student. The course work is the same as one would receive in a classroom setting. Each online class method varies per professor so it is difficult to assess how much time is need per class until it starts. Some professor require you to work in groups (virtual), others require that you attend the virtual chat for lecture, while others you do the work outlined in the syllabus and you may have no contact with other classmates all semester. Overall, I am enjoying my classes and this program. The professors are always available and are prompt to return messages."

"It seems that Frostburg's MBA program is new. It has been very disorganized. In the last semester, they are just starting to provide pertinent information to the students regarding recommended course of study and information necessary for graduation."
