"Overall, I was fairly disappointed with my education at Georgetown University. It is a university that is deemed as very prestigious and expensive; however, my experience did not live up to that hype at all. Much of my courses had tests and materials online which devalued the professors and learning through them. The student body was very white and wealthy and thus anyone outside of those backgrounds felt very out of place. Overall, I wish I went to a more diverse / liberal ivy league school instead.Read Less"

"Georgetown is a world-class institution in one of the most interesting and powerful cities in the country. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there as an MSB undergraduate student. The MSB undergraduate program is well rounded and integrates well with the other three undergraduate schools. With the core curriculum, you will certainly meet tons of people in your class outside of your school. Extracurriculars are great there, as well! There is a club for literally anything you can think of (and if there isn't, it's really easy to start one). I love that Georgetown does not have a Greek life system - it forces you to make friends with people who have the same interests as you as you tend to meet like-minded friends through extracurriculars. Being in DC is amazing, as well. The neighborhood is really safe and it's easy to get to other places in DC.Read Less"

I really think there is something to be said about going to a school with such a strong reputation, it has carried me in my post-grad life"

"Great program for working professionals, since it is both part-time and online. The online format for the Finance Masters created by the Georgetown faculty is superior to any other online experience I have ever had. The classes are taught live each week by a professor and professors and TA's are available for office hours."

"Georgetown gave me the best four years of my life. I loved being somewhat secluded in a world-class city. I loved the diversity and the activities and the social life, especially the sports. And of course, all while getting the best education in the world."
