"I am impressed with the way they handled my master's program. We were well-prepared for our boards, and they were generous and accommodating for our rotations (much better than other physician assistant programs in Michigan)."

"Had a good experience here. Main campus is small enough to walk around. Not super-diverse, but diverse for where a lot of the students come from (rural MI)."

"I absolutely loved college. It's not a lie when people say it's the fastest 4 years of your life. I think it is very important to choose a school that fits your needs, personality and interests. GVSU is a smaller school compared to UofM, MSU, etc., but I enjoyed every second of it, and graduated with several relationships, including friendships, mentors and colleagues."

"From an experience standpoint, Grand Valley State University was perfect. I made life-long friends, met the love of my life and learned many important life lessons. If I could do it all over again, however, I would not have spent money to attend the university. My degree has not provided any advantaged in the advertising or public relations industry. I would advise any future students to think long and hard about what their future goals are, and really evaluate if college is really in their best interest."

"The atmosphere at the school was really warm and welcoming. There are nearly limitless ways to get involved and participate in student life. The classes were applicable and challenging. I was a transfer student after getting my associates at another school, and there are definitely times when I think I would've enjoyed my first two years of college a whole lot more had it been at GVSU!"

"The professors at Grand Valley are great. They are always available and friendly. The financial aid is mostly based on ACT score and is very competitive to receive. I am from out of state and pay more than I would have had to pay if I stayed in state."

"Grand Valley State University is one of the best schools in the nation. I've never been to a university who works so hard to make sure that their students succeed. You are never alone at GVSU. There is always someone there to help you with whatever you may need. I am a proud GVSU Alumni #LakerforaLifetime"
