Degree: Early Childhood Education and Teaching
Graduation Year: 2013

I was in my mid 40's when i was laid off from my job at a manufacturing facility. No one was hiring in that field at the time. I miraculously got a job as a Para-educator; they needed someone who was an LNA. The student ended up moving away, and I was going to lose my job for a second time unless I could go back to school and become state certified as a Para-educator. I contacted GSC. They were awesome! First, they walked me through the enrollment process, got me enrolled, and helped me choose a career plan. This enabled me to receive my state certification, finish my A. A. degree that I had started 10 years earlier, and then earn an A. S. in Early Childhood education. I am now going to earn my B.S. in ECE with Teacher certification. I cannot say enough good things about GSC. The faculty are terrific, the classes challenging, the financial aid personnel are the best, and the classes are small and convenient. They offer online and on campus classes; I've attended both. I felt right at home even though I was middle age and hadn't been enrolled in school for a very long time. I graduated in 2013 with a 3.95 GPA! I do not believe that I would have been this successful any where else. My son is now attending GSC, and I couldn't be prouder!!
