"This college is very laid back and comfortable to attend. Only 1 of the 19 teachers I had was bad (despite researching them ahead of time to be safe). The class difficulty varies by teacher and genre, but everyone is willing to help if you come to them early on (don't wait). There was a reasonably good gym free for students. The food from the cafeteria was not great but fine for snack meals. As for textbooks, I feel mixed; some courses had very affordable and useful books while others (like language courses) were significantly expensive. Public transit to the campus was pretty convenient. All in all, this college is okay, though not impressive."
Always a student

"Green River Community College. has great programs and instructors. Their main campus is conveniently located, and parking is free, (worth mentioning). The campus has a very relax feeling being in the suburbs and surrounded by a natural environment which help minimize stress of everyday school work. The tuition is very reasonable in comparison with other Community Colleges, and certainly compare to the 4 year colleges especially if you are paying out of your own pocket. They have classes that challenge students at every level. The math and science programs are just as challenging if not more. According to former students that had graduated and moved on to a 4 year college came back and said the quality of GRCC classes equate that of their own university. All and all it was a great experience, but you only get what you put into it."
