Degree: Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General
Graduation Year: 2015

I graduated from Hartnell College in 2015. It is the local community college from the area enters to find their "heading" in life. I studied Theater there and I feel I gained a lot from it. I attended classes while performing for community theater company associated with the college. I met a lot of actors who guided me and encouraged me to further my career in New York. The Theatre program is top-notch but I feel is disconnected from the rest of the school. The school feels made up of a bunch of islands miles apart from each other. The other departments of the school don't seem to communicate; I believe the students suffer from that fact. It also feel very unsafe. Theft and muggings was very common occurrence at night. I clutched mace every night as I walked through the parking garage at night. It did feel I went to school with a diverse amount of people though. I meet and made friends with a bunch of fellow students in different stages of life. The gave young and old the opportunity to find their way in life.
