"The few pros, but certainly not limited to are the knowledgeable professors, intimate classroom setting, and independence. The professors are skilled individuals that are specialized in their area of expertise. Questions are encouraged as well as critical thinking. An Intimate classroom experience allows for special attention when required. One on one learning is common, in addition to extra help. Hofstra supplies their students with a sense of independence. Students are allowed to choose their placement for their required internships. Normally, schools decide this for the student, but Hofstra encourages students to venture out and find our passion."

"The health care administration program at Hofstra University is a very good one. The faculty is well trained and has a lot of experience in the field. They are also very inviting and provide a lot of career advice. The classes are also very good and interesting and students learn a lot about real-life situations. I encourage this program to anyone looking to have a career in health administration."

"Some questions were irrelevant to me because it is off-site program so I am not taking classes at main campus. Pros: Most classes within the program are online. This helps me because I am a full-time employee working 9-5 hours. One day of night classes which is in close proximity to my work place. This program seems to be designed for working professionals within the area. Cons: Hard to walk-in and talk to an advisor for financial and academic help since the main campus is located further away."
