"Good school if you want to be a litigator or patent lawyer. But way too expensive and they accept too many people"

"Studying the law takes a lot of work, so although the work load seems immense it's necessary to fully grasp everything the law entails. The professor's make learning enjoyable and are very realistic about what we are able to complete and when. I haven't utilized the career services myself but it's my understanding that it is an extremely helpful source. When choosing a school obviously the money is a major factor, Kent was so helpful and accommodating to my needs in that regard. A con may be the competitiveness among students, however, Kent faculty recommends us working together; students being competitive hasn't been something I have experienced personally. The location is phenomenal, right by the train stations and multiple bus stops. Also, Kent is in the loop which is where the heart of Chicago's business is. Another con may be that coffee isn't free, but then again it is only $1!"

"Pros: The school exemplifies a commitment to staying current on technology and particularly how it will affect the legal community. My teachers have been extremely approachable and helpful. Also, my teaching aids in the classes empathize my first year experiences especially in terms of preparation. Academic Program is very hands-on at Chicago Kent. I never feel like I can't reach out for help. Cons: The school's location is hidden and as well as any advertisement for the school surrounding the block. The school does not facilitate much interaction between the different years."

"Great law school in the heart of downtown Chicago. Easiest law school to reach from the suburbs given its ideal location next to Union Station. High Quality teachers and network. Competitive environment, but there are plenty of friendly people here too. Great career services, which is most important to me. Varied programs.specialties and ability to practice with real clients and earn class credit, which is rare. Excellent legal writing program and fantastic, new facility. Good education, just wish the school had a more recognizable name outside of the legal profession."

"Downtown Chicago, Chicago-Kent (IIT) Law School provides a diverse class and all of the advantages paired with being in a city. Kent lives up to the workload and difficulty expected in law school and provides a challenging environment for students to grow."

"The program is challenging yet fulfilling. Even though the workload can be overwhelming, the level of education and the information received is worth the time and cost."
