"I enjoyed attenting Indiana University Kokomo between the years of 2014 and 2016. I do not know if I would feel that way today as I'm sure some things have changed, especially since COVID. I love all of my professors, and I made some really good friends. The only down fall I felt from my time there was that all of the majors that I was interested in required a semester long internship. As a full time student and a full time employee, I was simply unable to accomplish this. Because of that I had to change my major from Secondary Education to General Studies. Almost ten years later, I have never had a job that required my degree. So, I basically have a bachelor's degree and about $10,000.00 in student loan debt for a job that I could have gotten straight out of high school."

"The only complaint I have of IU Kokomo is that I came from IU Bloomington and somehow some of my classes did not transfer and they made me take a couple of classes I had previously taken some version of. The environment for IUK classes is of a typical college and I felt comfortable there. The instructors were well informed and I could get help whenever I needed it. The financial aid office was also very helpful in figuring what I needed for school and sending out reminders for me to get things completed. My advisor for my program was very hit and miss though. I had to schedule times to meet him and then often he would not be there or would come late to the appointment. This was frustrating but the school as a whole was easy to navigate and what was expected."

"IUK has a relatively inexpensive program in public management (aka Public Administration). The school is fairly small and easy to navigate. Generally, I have found the faculty and staff to be more than willing to work with students and help them do well. Many of my classmates are adult students with other obligations in life. Despite the rural location, the program has attracted students from various places around the world (Africa, Asia, etc.). The university also has a few other graduate programs in case public management is not what you are interested in."

"In my opinion, IUK has a decent public administration (technically "public management") program for students. It is taught by faculty who are knowledgeable in the field and who care about their students. Despite being a smaller school, the campus is kept up and easy to navigate. Recently, a modernization program enhanced the inside and outside of at least one of the main buildings used for teaching. Among the different graduate programs in the state, IUK is quite affordable. For some, the program may be a little small. Currently, only two or three faculty are permanent and others serve on an adjunct basis. Financial aid is not very available, but this is remedied to a certain degree by the program's affordability."
