"I honestly believe that this school is a waste of money. The instructors are very nice and helpful, but are unable to properly teach the classes required due to limited resources and small classrooms. When dealing with administration, it always ends up turning in to a wild goose chase when you need a simple question answered. When it came time for my externship, I was placed with a practice that decided I would "learn best" by sticking me in a dark room where I scanned old files on to a computer for 8 hours a day. It was not until I complained twice to the Externship coordinator at IOT and the office manager at the clinic I was at, that I was allowed to spend 2 hours a day for two weeks following a Medical Assistant around. It seemed to me that the externship coordinator did not look fully in to the way the clinic was treating the students. Also, it is very apparent that the school cannot control the amount of drama that happens in between the students. I saw more fighting, backstabbing, and overall drama in the 9 months that I was there then I did in my four years of high school. Overall, I believe that you are wasting your money going to this school. When I graduated, I felt that I did not get the training that I needed to succeed in the medical field. This is not for lack of commitment since I did graduate with honors and only missed 3 days of school the entire 9 months. Since graduating I have spent 6 months trying to find a job. It seems that when the employers see where I received my training, the refuse to hire me. Please do not waste your money on this school."

"People please don't waste your time going to this school is not worth it. I graduated from MA and i didn't learn NOTHING would help me when i get to work. I learn more in the externship more what i spent going to the class. The teachers are unprofessional they don't know how to teach well. Especially MR: H. The office stink armpit!!! Which's not good. Im telling you people I waste my money and my time!! Go to another school but really not to this one. If you do you will see what im talking about. I'm going to another school the less things I learned in ace institute of technology for a year, I learned more less than 4 months in the school im going. Well goodluck with your decisition im just being honest and i don't want other people waste time & money like i did. Is your CHOSE!!"
