"First the College is way over priced. It cost around $45,000 for a two year degree. Over $80,00 for a BA Degree if they offer the program. They get students into school and tell them that it takes 1 year 9 months to get your degree, then not offer certain classes and the students have to stay longer. Second too work at ITT Tech is a big lie, they get the new leads for students who dont even want to attend college and make the reps call them 3 to 5 times a day. It irratates everyone involved. The Director and the Director of recruting lie about the leads and fail to inform all reps about new procedures. Then later blame the reps for not doing their job. If a rep does his/her job above and beyond expectations, they still get punished. The Director is a micro-manager, and DONT WORK OR ATTEND COLLEGE THEIR, HENDERSON. NV CAMPUS...."

"This school is the biggest waste of money. It gets you know where in life and puts you thousands of dollars in debt. You can't do anything with an ITT degree and their credits don't transfer so if you decided to high your degree you can't unless you retake the years spent at ITT."

"I had an Associate's Degree before attending ITT. My obvious goal was to move up in the field I had chosen. With my 2 year degree and time in military it was only natural to get my BS in CJ. ITT was expensive and I paused as I conteplated rather the investment would truly reap rewards that would pay for it. The school hounded me nearly every day and told me nonstop through phone calls, emails, and meetings that I would make so much money that I would easily be able to pay these loans.Against better judgment, I started ITT. Some instructors were helpful, informative, and knowledgable. Others were something else altogether. When the next class graduated, I got phone numbers from several of the class to get information about job placement. A few got jobs make around $30,000 a year. One got a job around $45,000. This is out of 13 people! Others went to old jobs in town waiting for something to happen. That was disheartening. I dropped out and went to local university and finished my Bachelors and just received my Masters. When I landed a pretty good job,(that even paid all my tuition for my Masters!) my interviewer actually said he would pretend that ITT wasn't part of my education! That's how anti-ITT some employers are. I make a very comfortable living today and am completely debt free. My Bachelors cost me less than $15,000! That is what I paid ITT for a few months! Just do your homework and find those recent grads and talk to them!"

"Its funny to read these reviews about ITT. there all negative and not one of these people graduated. lol. i havnt graduated yet and i cant speak the same for every campus but, i can tell you that if you put your mind to it, you cna accomplish anything you need to do. so if you go to ITT, dont give it a half ass job, pay attention, put the extra work in, ask questions if you dont understand, make complaints if you have disagreements and work hard. but if you expect ITT to just hand you a degree cause you think its a school for lazy people and its not a real school, your sadly mistaken."

"So the mistake that I made was coming to this "School" a.k.a. the money vacuum because all ITT is a place that takes your money and doesn't teach you anything. All your credits will not transfer anywhere except for other ITT schools. This school is a big disappointment and I wish I would have done my research before I came here and signed. $40,000 for teachers who can't teach and labs that pretty much don't work. I didn't pay to come to my Intro to Information Security class and give a presentation about my culture. What does my culture have to do with anything relating to internet security? Almost every lab I have gotten didn't work so ya this school sucks."

"ITT is good at one thing, and one thing only: taking your money. If you have money to blow, they will occupy your time and spew out lots of nonsense. For anyone who actually wants to learn something that would help them with a job, go elsewhere.I have nothing against hard work. While the money is pouring in at ITT, the rest of the country is suffering from a bad economy. ITT takes advantage of students, promising that they'll step right out into a $100K job. LIARS! Those jobs don't go to entry-level people--particularly if they went to ITT.Nonetheless, there's plenty of people sitting in class at ITT hoping for easy money. Really, there is only one way they can get the easy money, and that is by working for ITT, where they can excrete another batch of IT ignoramouses.I hate to bash the school I attended, but it seems ITT's reputation couldn't possibly get any worse, and no one will hire an ITT graduate, anyway. Anyone who has a good opinion of ITT must either be one of ITT's recruiters, or ignorant in the IT field."

"No one hires ITT "graduates". I found this out the hard way. After putting my time, effort, and money into this worthless "school", I actually had an employer tell me that they will never hire an ITT graduate. His reasoning was that they didn't have any computer knowledge. After some argument, he let me take the tests, and I was embarassed to find that he was right. Despite all my hard work and high GPA, I discovered to my dismay that I didn't know the first thing about anything. I know I worked hard. I know all the things ITT taught. Unfortunately, it's worthless."

"I spent 7 weeks at ITT in Brooklyn Center, Mn. I encountered the most unbelievable amount of ineptitude I have ever witnessed in my life. The first few weeks they didn't even have their own IT person on staff!I suffered through one mistake after another at the hands of the faculty. The entire atmosphere at the classes was nothing less than chaos and no one lifted a finger to stop it."

"I went to ITT about 2 yrs ago and when I went I made sure I told them that I wanted everything to be student loans, I had to drop out about a yr in, in about a month I recieved papers from a collection agancy saying I owed money to the school, when I called the school they told me it was a temporary credit that they give to the students, this was news to me and the collection agency kept harrasing me.I called BBB and got it out of collections but still owe the money directly to the school. WARNING: do not sign anything before you look and asked lots of question, I did all that and still got screwed ( $8000 screwed). I was not expecting this extra payment. Also the teachers are not very helpful, one math teacher did not even teach he expected you to know the material, as quoted by one teacher "You had this in High School". I was 46 at the time thats a long time and never took trig in school back then."

"I feel sorry for anyone who waster their money with ITT. Avoid at all costs. Everything I tried to learn at ITT, I ended up having to take classes in elsewhere to actually learn. The teachers at ITT are clueless."

"I am in my second semester at ITT tech obtaining an Associates in Network Systems Administration ( completely online). I have computer experience but I wanted to learn more about the Internet and how it works. ITT did let me know that I had to help along side with the faculty to recieve benefits thatthe school has to offer. I was just recently contracted for Hewlett Packard (HP) for a position that is in my field of study.I believe you get out what you put in and if you don't put forth the effort to succeed in anything that you pursue, you will fail. I've heard nothing but bad reviews about this institution, but I have seen nothing wrong with it. I am moving along ata pretty fast pace and I am learning alot. If you want to attend a school that offers a pretty good curriculum, give ITT a shot."

"After all the time and effort I spent on this, there was no pay-off. The instructors are bumbling idiots. Nothing ITT taught was helpful, and ITT doesn't seem to care. They don't promise a job. I understand that. What I don't understand is that they know there's no hope of ITT graduates getting a job, because the ITT is known to be a bad school.ITT didn't teach me anything useful, and what they did teach was either incorrect or outdated.ITT is big on virtual environments, which is fine when you already know what you're doing, but most students, like me, do not. Employers ask me about hands-on, or give tests where things are so different, I have no chance."

"There is no IT knowledge or ability at this institution! They exist solely to make money. They do not screen their students, most of whom could not succeed at any school, and certainly have no chance here. This institution writes favorable reviews about themself, but truthfully, they are a blight to the IT field, and their "graduates" are an embarassment to the profession. Every person who "graduates" from this institution devalues the actual education and knowledge of actual IT professionals."

"ITT's instructors can't even pass basic IT competency tests. The instructors are poor teachers, and can't seem to grasp the material. ITT is a detriment to any resume. They do send out resumes, yes, but basically infuriate the employers by sending unqualified people with exaggerated qualifications. ITT is just looking to take your money.Whatever you do, do not let R.R. send out your resumes! She seems to be ignorant of the IT terms, and really doesn't care who she sends the resumes to, just so she can say she has sent them out. The career center is a joke. They don't know anything about resume writing. You'd do better on your own. ITT has no core competencies. Avoid ITT like the plague!"

"I haven't been to school in over 10 years. I didn't know where to start but I new the local university was going to be way more expensive and I wasn't going to be able to continue working full time. My fiance completed her Associates in Veterinary Technology and found a job within 2 months of finishing her last class. She is happy and is the only certified technician at the clinic she works in. I figured well if she could pull it off without having to go to a university why couldn't I? I looked into ITT and liked what I heard they were very upfront from the start. They let me know that they didn't guarantee jobs but they would do everything in their power to help while I was in school as well as after. I am only 1 quarter in and I already have them emailing me offers for internships.I know these are jobs in the sense that I would be getting paid but the fact that most internships usually lead to full time employment and that they were already generating leads was reassuring. So far the instructors are upfront with how their curriculum is going to go and that the work lies on our shoulders like it does in any place of higher education. I read these negative reviews from people who say they went and are just so unhappy with the results. When did you figure it out? After you graduated? Probably not you probably figured it out you were unhappy sometime after you started. Why didn't you drop out? You wouldn't have had to pay for all the loans you took out if you did use them. It sounds like poor students with attitude problems. What's that old saying "Showing up is 80% of it" it's true, if you don't show up you don't get what you need to to get the work done. Maybe you just didn't ask any questions when you went in and now your pissed because you were ignorant.I was told upfront that credit don't transfer to other colleges and that they only transfer to other ITT campuses. I was told that even if I sat down I would still have to pay 5k if I dropped out. This was for a portion of my loan that wasn't covered. I had no problem with that because it was upfront information. In closing I also find it hard to take a review from people that can't even spell correctly or use grammar that could pass as proper. I'm no English professor but at least it looks like I learned to read and write."

"ITT offers nothing to those students who want a real education and something to be proud of when they complete their degree. They will let anyone in as long as they can recieve some kind of financial aid and get the school their money. Most student would never make it in a real college but ITT gives them all degrees they dont deserve. There is no point in working hard at this school they give degrees that are equal to yours to student that just show up. ITT doesnt not value education or its student, they value money. If you have a full time job and do not recieve financial aid ITT will hunt you down, call you a dozen times a day for $2.00.I would never attend this school again in my life. I was a CJ student wanting my BA, well after my first year and a half they did away with the CJ BA program. Not on teacher or faculty member told us this news. Students had to bring the subject up to them and when we did we never got a straight answer. If you are a student looking for a school that will teach you something and get you ready for the future run far far away from this joke of a school. They are nothing but liars who care about money not you not its students."

"I decided to go back to school for a career change after working in my current career for 25 years. My first degree was done at a community college and the difference between the community college and ITT-Tech is the level of focus that ITT-Tech gives you. There will be those out there that complain - those people will always complain saying they didn't get fair treatment. Your education is dependent upon how much you put into it. I felt like ITT-Tech was a good choice for me because I am too old to worry about electives (as I call foo foo classes), making it to a pep rally and all the other social stuff that young kids like.I am serious about my new career and didn't go to school to see what they could do for me. I went to school to see what I could do for myself. ITT-Tech has some awesome student services if you just tap into them and take advantage of the knowledge they offer. I would recommend it if you want to get in and get out and not play around. Good luck!"

"I was attending a community college before ITT-Tech. I found that the underpaid professors and childish students combined for a distracted and simple-minded learning environment. That being said, I started going to ITT-Tech and the curriculum was much harder; and everyone including the professors take school very seriously, unlike what people have been saying on here. It has been challenging; and because I have passion, study hard, and prioritize correctly, I have highest honors. I have job offers from Lockheed Martin, FBI, and several other major organizations. You have to work hard for the education. The professors are not supposed to hold your hand and change your diapers. They are there to guide you through the material and have office hours so you can take advantage of their knowledge. If someone refuses to study outside of school and work hard, then they have no business complaining because a $10 an hour job is the best they are going to get. I have 2 children under 3 years old and I still make school my priority. School does not need to be flexible. We as students, are to hold school as most important. ITT-Tech is a great school and as you can see on these posts, it weeds out the LAZY and immature students, unlike many traditional schools."
