"This graduate program is excellent. The people around you truly care about your success and are eager to watch you grow in your educational experiences. I feel that this program will allow me to venture through doors that may not have been available to me otherwise."

"The professors at K-State are extremely passionate about their students and their area of study. They will go out of their way to answer any questions and clarify confusing topics. The workload is heavy and stressful, but I know that it is developing me into a better public sector manager."

"KSU CVM is preparing myself and my classmates for a career in Veterinary Medicine very well. Course work is rigorous, but beneficial and we are looking forward to completing our clinical year next year in the teaching hospital with faculty members."

"We don't get into the clinic until 4th year and the rotations can either overwhelm you or leave you with some free time depending on which one you're in. We lack tech support in our ICU, so students do a lot of the work as mandatory shifts. The clinicians are overall very friendly, however they recently made our teacher reviews non-anonymous, so students rarely get to input criticism without the potential for it coming back to haunt them."

"This is a graduate program that will push you to do the best work that you can. As a student you have access to the newest technology and professionals in your field of study. There is a large work load and you must be prepared to spend10-16 hours in studio a day. The overall education you receive is very good and well known in the midwest as an excellent program. Graduates from this program are desired in the midwest because the program is known for getting their students prepared for the professional world."

"I got my masters degree in mechanical engineering from the MNE department at Kansas State University and, currently, I am pursuing my graduate studies to receive my PhD in mechanical engineering, as well. The program that I was involved in was very attractive not only nation wide but on the international aspect. The project was supported and funded by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Center of Excellence for disease control and transport. The overall graduate program here at K-state is very strong in terms of focusing on developing the technical and analytical skills instead of theoretical aspects only. The faculty and staff in the campus are in general very friendly and supportive. Many activities are conducted all over the year including students from all over the world which promotes diversity and prepares the students to face the different cultures that they will interact with if they work in a multi-diverse nature company."

"I really like the campus of KSU. Also KSU is one of the best universities for studying the field which I am interested in. However, as Manhattan is a small town, trasportation is REALLY poor!"

"The faculty members want to see you succeed. They are personable and approachable, allowing you to feel comfortable in your learning environment. They work on their own research which then fuels the discussions in the classroom and inspires students to aid in the research as well."

"Good and quality people are leaving, and non-quality people are getting hired. People are just looking for them selves, not for the better future of the departments and college of engineering. Very disappointing. Here is some of really talented and smart people but without support , but unfortunately no one is recognizing that and they are all leaving. Ranking and quality of this department, at least on the graduate level, is getting lower and lower."
