"I transferred into King University as a Junior from a large Knoxville University. I am Communications major and have taken many courses in the communications program. My experience has been great with flexible scheduling, and exceptional professors, such as Dr. Sloan, Professor Rebecca Huckaby, and Professor Cora Young. Our classes were only 5 weeks long. The 5-week courses allowed me, as a working adult, to obtain a degree with great flexibility. Each class has a low student to professor ratio, which allowed for more one-on-one time with each student. These professors are accessible and actually care about you obtaining the required elements of each class. The Communication Program offers a knowledgeable and experienced staff of professors who care for their students, that some are not from teaching backgrounds. Each professor shared opportunities in the workforce that suited the field of study for that course. I would recommend the Communication Program at King University to anyone that is seeking a bachelor's degree in East Tennessee."

"Almost ten years ago today, I began my college entry essay with this statement: “Hello, my name is Cameron Taylor and I am a senior at Richmond Christian School. This fall, I plan to major in mass communications at Liberty University. This degree will help me become a positive influence in my community.” This introduction was as vague as my life plans. Like most high school graduates, I knew very little about college. My parents, teachers, and friends conditioned me to see it as a stepping stone to adulthood. Little did I know, college would be the highest step, and the heaviest stone that would remain unturned in my life. Fast forward almost ten years and multiple failed college attempts, I found King University. This program although not exclusive, feels tailor made for my needs and learning style. During my time here I have made the Deans list as well as the Presidents list. I give all the credit to my wonderful professors who never help any punches and always pushed me to be the best version of myself. My only regret in my educational experience is that I didn’t find King University sooner."

"I was first presented about King University while attending another institution. I currently attend the satellite campus in Hardin Valley. The great thing about the degree program I'm involved in, is that it offers older students the opportunity to pursue a degree while having a full-time job and managing a family at the same time. This program is very hard to beat and truly worth every moment. I have been able to become a more well-rounded student and individual while attending King. It is very hard to beat class one night a week and a degree guaranteed in one year. King has bestowed great advantages, opportunities, and moments that I know have prepared me for my future endeavors. The professors at King do a great job of making your time at King all worth it. They want you to walk away from each class feeling confident that you have expanded your academic opportunities. The professors care about you as a student, person, and want you to succeed once your done at King. I truly believe that every aspect about King has prepared me for the future ,and I'm glad that I have spent the past couple of years at King. I highly recommend King and especially the program I'm involved with to anyone who is interested."

"I have attended King University for almost one year now and will graduate in a few short months. The transition into King University’s communication program was a smooth process. Anthony Lanagan, Enrollment Counselor at King, was very helpful in guiding me through the application process at King’s Knoxville campus. During my search for an accredited university, I wanted somewhere with flexible hours and that offered an affordable education. King University’s communication program has checked every box on my list."

"King Univesity is a small school located in beautiful Bristol, TN. The campus is surrounded by mountains and various rivers that you can hike, fish, hunt, or simply enjoy the scenery. As for the communications program, it is completely online with most of the professors located at King's satellite campus in Knoxville, TN. This was the third school I've taken online classes at and the various professors we're all accessible when trying to contact them. I lived several hours away from every professor and it was no issue to ask a question or get clarification on an assignment, it was as easy as if we were in class. The assignments you are given will be focused around the class, challenging but not the prototypical assignments that you find time-consuming with little to do with your career goals. Be prepared to use the required text in all of your classes. All in all, with COVID lingering and much of education being pushed online, this program should be considered strongly by any potential communication major."

"As an adult learner, the Communication Program at King University’s Knoxville Campus has been a wonderful experience. I started taking Business Administration classes at King University, but found my interests leaned more toward the Communication Program. The administration and staff helped me to understand my options and assisted me to transition to a program that I truly enjoy. The educators and staff exceed expectations in their support of students. I struggle with online learning and the administration was very responsive with helping me get set up with the on-campus classes I needed to succeed. The professors are knowledgeable and have real world experience with Communication to share. Everyone at King University, including my fellow students, seem to invest and care about my future in-class and beyond. King University has created an environment that welcomes and encourages everyone toward their goals."

"I first started at King University in July of 2017. The enrollment counselors talked me through each step of the enrollment process. The financial aid office helped my complete my FASFA and counseling for student loans. The bookstore staff helped me receive all of my books in a timely manner. Each professor I have had has been nothing short of amazing! They truly look for students to strive and obtain the class credits. They have always responded in a timely manner and even offered video conferencing if a student has needed help. Throughout the graduation process, the school makes sure that each student is available to receive their caps and gowns in both the Knoxville location and the Bristol location. Now that I am going back for my Master's Degree. The enrollment counselors call once a week to make sure that nothing is needed of them and we are just waiting for classes to start. Along with all new tutorials if they were needed. King University has been a blessing and a school that I will soon be part of the alumni!"

"I have been enrolled here at King for almost three years, and I truly believe that this University is one of the best online programs in the state of Tennessee. From the application process, all the way down to the instructors, each and every person I have had contact with, has been very helpful and genuinely makes me feel like they want me to succeed. Each class I have been in, has been very flexible and work friendly. I love how it feels like a self-paced program that does not just pile on classwork on you in a sink or swim kind of way. Without King and their COMM program online, I would not be able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a major I like due to work and family. It is a Christian-based university and you are treated with such respect while you are at King, you honestly feel like family here. I am thankful I chose King!"

"I have been enrolled in COMM Studies at King University for about 3 months now. My first semester is coming to an end and my experience thus far has been very smooth and successful. I look forward to completing my degree here, and for those who decide to do the same, it is truly the best way to complete school in a timely manner. I am working a full-time job in the insurance industry working 40+ hours a week and I have not once struggled with balancing work and school. Having a balance of the two does require me to plan ahead and set time aside to complete my work, but it has never put me in a bind. I would recommend this program to anyone who is trying to work full time and complete their degree. The teachers have also been very understanding of my scenario. I have had to submit a few assignments late and sometimes life happens, but for the most part teachers are forgiving and allow you a chance to make up for a late assignment. King University allows me to fulfill my degree, have a work life and still have plenty of time with family and loved ones."

"I chose King University’s communication program, and it is the best decision I have made. I had gone to a community college but decided to take a year off to decide what I wanted to do. I ended up looking around for Tennessee colleges with communication programs. I wanted to be able to stay close to home, but also get a degree at an accredited college. It was important that if I went to school for communication that the school was an accredited college. I wanted to make sure I was going to leave the school with a successful job and a great salary. I found King University, researched their communication programs, and realized they had an online program. After taking a year off from college, I had a job that I worked full time and was going to struggle finding time for school. I was sold when I found out King University had an online program. I immediately put in my application, because flexible hours made it possible for me to work and go to school. I was so happy I could work on my school work on my own schedule. It was the right choice for me. I am pleased with my decision. The teachers are wonderful, communicate quickly and efficiently. The program has really helped me learn and develop for my degree. I have recommended King University to many people and continue to do so. The college is a perfect fit for busy bees like me."

"I started the Communication program at King University in January 2019. After researching my options of schools would provide me the best education, I found KING. Their online program makes it convenient for working adults to complete a bachelor’s degree in a fast-track degree program in 16-18 months. The application process was one of the easiest I have dealt with and the faculty and staff is helpful and always available to answer questions. I am very please with how smoothly this process has been for me. I would recommend King COMM program to anyone who is thinking about going back to college."

"As a third semester communication major at King University, I can confidently say that I have had the most incredible experience thus far. From the process of transfering to King University to the unseen teachers who somehow care so deeply, this online program has been a dream. When I began the transfer process, I was a bit nervous about commiting to an all online program as I had only ever been in classrooms with professors directly in front of me. Never had I dreamed of being an online student, but here I am, and I am loving it! In my three semesters here, I have seen and noticed so much change in both my casual and professional communication skills. From being more intentional in my conversations to noticing how others communicate, this program has really grown my knowledge and skills on how to effectively communicate with others. As I am set to graduate in May of 2020, I reflect on all of my professors and how they were there for me in many email conversations providing guidance, I think about how intentional my success coaches were who truly wanted to see me flourish, I think about how much I have been pushed and grown throughout this process, and can say with confidence that I could not have asked for a better experience. So, if you are a student seeking a bachelor’s degree in communication but uncertain of your next move, I urge you to very heavily consider calling King University your home!"

"My experience at King University has been very positive. This is my first semester and experience with online courses in the online COMM program. King has many attractive qualities, it is an affordable school that offers quality education and is Christian-based. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. From my enrollment counselor navigating me through what classes to take for my program to my success specialist answering my questions, their support is very encouraging. I enjoy that most of the classes are condensed to 5 week courses rather than semester long. Another benefit of the online communication program is that it can be finished sooner than most schools. This online program also allows me to be able to balance my school life with my everyday life because of the flexibility. Another benefit of King University are the professors, they are personable and easy to reach out to. Even though I’m not in a traditional classroom setting, I still feel like I can participate and interact with my fellow online classmates. This Christian-based, accredited school offers so much!"

"My experience with King University thus far has been a positive experience. I attend college right out of highschool high school, but ended up taking some time off for awhile due to the fact I really had no idea what I wanted to do. However, when I decided to go back and finish my communications degree. I work full time and so I needed something that was gonna going to be flexible for me. I was recommended to King University's online program. King is known in my area for being a top rated university who's graduates have a high job placement after graduation. They offer a 100% online degree that can be completed in 18 months. It can be intense as you complete a class every 5 weeks. However, it is the perfect set up for someone who doesn't have time to attend traditional classes. The professors are always easy to communicate with, and anytime I have ever had an issue they always are willing to work with me. I definitely recommend this program and university."

"King University is a small Christian University based in Bristol, TN. This is my first semester at King after graduating with an associate degree in Business Administration last spring. I transferred to King pursuing my bachelor’s degree in their online Comm program. After being here for roughly a semester now, I can confidently say this is a great online program. Each student at King, online or traditional, is assigned a student success specialist that guides you through what classes to take and answers any questions you have on your way to graduation. What makes this University different from the other two online programs I have been in, is the accessibility of each professor. I am taking five classes this semester and have emailed each professor with questions about their course, getting a response within three days each time. What made the Comm program here appealing was the accelerated classes King offers. The whole program is online and many of the classes are offered as 5 week accelerated courses. This makes graduating early easier for students in the program. Lastly, what makes me confident in my choice to transfer here is each professor is passionate about their profession. It seems like every week I am getting an email from them that pertains to something that isn’t graded material, but simply an article that pertains to something we are learning in class. I would recommend this program for any interested student."

"King University answered a lot of questions I had about myself. Having taken a 4-year sabbatical from my education, I wanted to finally know who I was and where my place in the world should be. For me, that meant I needed to go back to school and finish my degree. The University of Tennessee was so cold and impersonal toward me and left me feeling so discouraged about college that I wondered if going back as an adult student would be worth my time. I knew I wanted to study communication, but I was unsure how or where I could comfortably study to become who I was meant to be. King University settled all of my worries by offering a low cost 2-year online bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in the communication field. King University is rooted in Christian academics and provides flexible schedule catered to students who also have full time work and home lives. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the King University Communication program and was sad to see it end. The professors are experts in all communication fields and develop students capable of entering the workforce with confidence in their communication skills. I learned many valuable strengths that will transfer seamlessly into a communication career from professors who showed me that I matter as an individual, welcomed my inquiries, and gave me feedback I can grow from long after my degree starts gathering dust. I feel very blessed to have attended King University’s online Communication program and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, focused, and financially sound education."

"King University is a Christian college based in Bristol, TN but also has a satellite campus in Knoxville, TN. I have been attending King University in Knoxville, TN for two semesters now and I am truly happy with my educational experience so far. I am currently a student in the communication program. If anyone is looking for a great communication program then King University is worth looking into. When I was first searching for a communication program to transfer to, I was wanting to find a college that actually cares about the needs of students and the students education. Thankfully I found out about King University. When I called and asked for more information about the communication program and the staff was so helpful and set up a meeting for me with an advisor right away. When I met to discuss the communication program, every staff member and professor I spoke with was incredibly accommodating and made sure they answered every question I had about the program. That meeting was a big deciding factor in my decision to enroll at King University. King University offers a flexible communication program with accelerated classes that allows graduation to come quickly. The communication classes in this program are not just boring lectures that drag on. The communication classes are full of hands-on activities and learning opportunities that really help all of the communication students for the future. Every week I look forward to coming back to class and I dont think I had ever felt that way about college before attending King University. I am so thankful I heard about King University and decided to further my education in the communication program."

"Choosing King University to attain my COMM degree has been one of the best decisions I have made regarding furthering my education. From the beginning of my college experience I was welcomed by a friendly success coach who offered advice and explained what I was to expect in the next 16 months. In my previous college experiences, I was not given such treatmentI was on my own to figure everything out. . King Universitys staff have been more than accommodating, understanding, and proficient at teaching through online applications. The COMM program is interactive, informative, and I can say that I feel confident entering the job market. If you're looking for flexibility like myself, this would be the best choice. I'm a full-time employee, new mother, and full-time studentflexibility is a must. To top off this great experienceit was also affordable! I have received an amazing education, experience, at an accredited university at a great price. I would recommend this program (and University) to anyone!"
