Latter-day Saints Business College Reviews
I was accepted for Latter-Day Saints Business College in 2016. This College is founded and sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. I am a member of this church. As an institution, they seek and follow the counsel and guidance of inspired leaders in harmony with their teaching. I had the opportunity to complete my associate degree in Information Technology there during five semesters. I studied several classes, totalizing sixty-six credits and 8 Information Technology Certificates, that were provided by TestOut. In Latter-Day Saints Business College, I learned how to install, configure, support and protect an organizations infrastructure, whether it is a local area network, or wide area network. As a Network Engineer I can implement systems that will monitor networks viability and availability, as well as ensure that the network infrastructure is safe from external attacks. The classes there were awesome, and I took it for granted. I learned Python programing language, Introduction to Business Technology, Windows Server Administration, I studied two Cisco classes, System Analysis and Design, Cybersecurity fundamentals, Information Storage and Management, Linux Administration, Introduction to Structure Query Language (SQL) and of course Network Configuration. I cannot forget the core classes that granted me a few good skills, like my Communication Class, Quantitative Analysis and Personal Finance and English Classes. My Capstone project was based on creating and promote improvements in a Server using VMware. Well, as you can see, this institution of knowledge provided me a great opportunity to learn tons of content, what made me feel part of IT World.
I attended Latter-day Saint Business College for two years and earned my associates degree there. It was a wonderful experience. The faculty were extremely helpful and cared to see you succeed. I was able to get involved in a number of on-campus organizations. The relationships I made and the experiences I had will benefit me my whole life. Sometimes I wish I were back in school so that I could be part of that uplifting environment. The school works very hard to prepare you for getting a job.
