"This school truly did help me on my learning career. They not only helped me getting into school and supplying me with all the resources I needed, but also helped me when I left their school. They helped me get a job before I left so I could be set up. I am so grateful I went to this college and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!"

"Horrible school! Horrible teachers horrible staff!! They told me that i was not only going to learn the skills i would need to obtain a job in the animation field but that they had all the equipment i needed to do the job and that they would find a job for me when i complete the course. WRONG!!! They lied about everything! The staff was always talking about going to Hancock college to get a real job. The teachers would literally do your project for you or get mad because your not as smart as they are. I got in trouble once for being in class and waiting for a teacher to stop making his own project and notice me already!! There own office is bigger then their Santa Maria campus. They have absolutely non of the equipment needed in the animation field. They have only 6 computers out of 100 for the animation field. They said they can accommodate my work schedule and then told me or their is no class for you at the time your available. It took 3 yrs to complete an 18 month program. And the "job" they give you is a made up position! They had me create a logo for a fake company! I only found out cause the company was called by the same name as the old email service we used for school!! They thought i was stupid enough to not notice! And to cover there tracks they make sure you sign paperwork saying they found you a job! The reviews on this site of 5 out of 5 are obvious lies. Read them and notice what is said is all false! Non of those people went to this school and got robbed for there overly priced classes. And please dont think im just some disgruntled student. Im not. They taught me a little bit. But nowhere near the $39,354.17 I now owe the government. This school is only out to rob people and i can't wait till someone files a lawsuit against them!"

"First off I would never recommend this school to anyone at anytime! They are dishonest and way to expensive. They never told me that the associate degree would be an occupational associates degree, they seemed to have left that out. The cost for going to the school for an associates is way too much and had I been wiser I wouldve gone else where. I learned absolutely nothing from the classes I took and some of the teachers are lazy! I basically paid a large amount of money for a piece of paper. I would never recommend this school to anyone!"

"This school said we were going to be able to get a job in medical billing and coding when they were trying to get us to go to their school, but they were not able to help us get jobs, and half way through started telling us to do front desk positions, which pay way less than billing and coding. I am trying to get my money back for this. I feel they were very dishonest."

"I was very satisfied with the Professional Business Systems Program (PBS) at Laurus. The Instructors were amazing, helpful and very professional. Teachers and Staff were worked always willing to work with you, if you got behind. Students that I met on campus were friendly, and didn't mind helping you, if you had a question, concern or computer problem because the staff had left for the day. I worked morning/ days, so the evening classes were a great fit for me. Attending a class every 5 weeks worked out great for me and I never felt overwhelmed with homework. It gives you an opportunity to focus on that one class/ subject, study and complete the homework and quizzes . I was also encouraged by one of my Instructors to write an article for the Laurus Magazine, which I never thought I was capable of doing, and it was successfully printed. I was very proud of the accomplishment and grateful that I was given the opportunity to be a part of the first volume of the magazine. I would definitely recommend Laurus College to anyone that is considering going back to school. Part of attending Laurus is after graduation, you are still part of the Laurus family, and if I ever want to brush up on anyone of the classes I completed,I have that option."

"I really enjoy teachers who want to teach you the tools and the reasons behind using them. The instructors really seemed to like when I wanted to go above and beyond. They saw how each of us learned at a different pace and I think the one on one style really worked for me. I like being hands on and being encourage to not just sit in class but work to develop my own style and pace"

"Laurus College was one of the best experiences of my life. I had instructors who were hard and ones who were amazing, but they all wanted me to succeed. I was a hybrid student going between the campus and online. There were Pro's for each. I loved going to the campuses and meeting my instructors, fellow students, and some of the Laurus staff. Everyone was so extremely nice and helpful. The online experience was great as well being able to login where ever for class was convenient. There were of course a few Con's but they were small. For instance, I couldn't show up to campus in my pj's. After graduating I found a job rather quickly thanks to the career service department of the school. Now, I am working in my field and loving it. My life before Laurus was depressing and stagnant. Now I feel like my life is on the right path to success and I am happy."

"I had to give 5 stars across the board. Not only was the faculty caring and attentive to my every need, but I always felt that I was put first. The instructors are very knowledgeable in their specified fields, because all of them worked in their fields! I felt that I was given an edge attending Laurus College. Best of all, I felt that I was treated like family, not just a number or a cold statistic. Easily one of the best decisions I have ever made, and will make again when they offer Bachelor's Degrees."
