"I do not feel prepared for my career field. My education was often based upon the extent of my inclusion of Bible verses versus the quality of my understanding of the actual educational material. It is a Christian school but often focuses too largely on inclusion of the Bible over the quality of education."

"Liberty University was a school I looked at due to its location to family and me being stationed overseas. I chose Liberty University in order to get a clearer understanding of the impact that religion, more specifically Christianity, impacts a persons life. I felt that there was no real connection with the teachers and students in an online setting. This makes it challenging to move forward into a Doctorate without a LOR from a professor. It is also my opinion that it is an expensive school and it does not need to cost as much as it does. Even more so for online courses. I think that there should be a differential. However, that is just my opinion. There was concerns with a couple professors and their inability to teach versus me teaching myself certain theories. On a positive note I do feel that there was a good amount of interaction even in an online setting. I also got what I came to Liberty for. I wanted a deeper understanding of Christianity. One thing I will recommend is that if you are not someone who is Christian and you may be looking for a broader view on theories do not attend Liberty without a deep understanding of why you are doing it. Theories are taught on a majority bases only taking into consideration the majority which is the white population. I also felt that in some regards I was being treated differently because I am not a Christian. Also take into consideration the program and how it is accredited. Having a MA in great but it does not do much for me currently. I originally applied for the MA for LPC but due to being stationed overseas I could not make it back to Lynchburg, VA. There was no leeway provided for military members or their spouses. I wanted to continue classes, try and schedule my intensives for another time, and I was told no."

"Liberty is a school that thrives off the Love of Christ and a quality education. It's the biggest Christian university in the world. I love the school as it provide all kinds of opportunities for people from all walked of life. It doesn't matter who you are, what you look like as long as you're a believer."

"I really enjoyed attending Liberty University where I came back to pursue my second Master's. Liberty University has professors and other staff that are very sincere with your time of need whether it being prayer for personal situations or prayer and a word of encouragement in class. This university believes in the power of prayer and before class, will take the time to pray as one. Liberty also allows you to learn how to incorporate both personal opinion and the Bible into your studies."

"I am a recent graduate of the human services program with a health and wellness specialty. I truly enjoyed my time there at Liberty because of the subject matter that further my learning in nursing and population health. There are negatives as with any school (e.g professors that do not respond on time). Overall, the experience was Christ-centered and with that I can express myself as a Christian without having to defend myself against atheist professors."
