I was so excited to begin at this school. They guaranteed me a job once finished and promised me a lot of financial assistance which would leave me owing barely anything. They also enticed me with Mothers Hours. I had one class per day, for a half day of schooling. This was perfect because I had an infant at hoe who was being watched by my great grandmother. I couldn't go for any more time at that time. So things were going ok. Although it was way to easy. The day before our tests the teachers would get up in front of the class and have us take notes. These notes were actually a complete test. It was every question on the test in the order it would be on the test. I literally only studied that on the way to school the next day and got 100% on every test. Then they decided to have a meeting and tell us that our hours were changing. It would no longer be a half day program, it would now be full day. I told them it was not what I signed up for and that it was not feasible with a small child at home. They told me that my contract stated that they could change the hours. I requested a leave of absence so I could figure it out. They denied me and I had to leave the school. Because I left early I lost all of my grant money and now have to pay back all of my tuition. I am in debt for a program in which they handed me the test questions the day before the test and changed the hours 3 months into school. I owe 13,000 for nothing. I lost my tax return this year for this school. I was also just reading some of these reviews. How is it that they say 4 star but when you read the review they tell you "this is why I gave 1 star"

Aside from meeting some cool teachers and a couple of friends this school did nothing for me. Wasted 18 months of my life and not to mention the $10,000 debt that is now on my plate. They promised job placement, I talked to the lady ONE TIME and she set up ONE INTERVIEW which I obviously didn't get because I had no experience, after that I heard nothing from the school again. I even went to the place I did my 3 month internship with and got nothing!!! I work at a low paying job to support my child and couldn't even pay my loans which are now in default and I haven't seen a tax refund in over three years. DO NOT APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL...DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO A LOAN OR GRANT. They get paid regardless of what happens to you and you are not their problem.

I thought going to this school would be a new start for me. I was so wrong. They lie to get you into the school. Then when you graduate you can't find a job. Now I'm in debt because I can't afford to pay loans and my house hold. Wish I would of never went.

I been going to this school for 3 years now and I been working hard. I did two programs MOA and MA. Now they want to charge me 19,000 for two programs when they suppose to only charge me for 3 extra classes since I was a MOA. Now they saying I never finished my MOA program but the financial aid advisor had messed up telling me I could finish those classes at no additional costs. It turned out this person was a temp and wasn't fit because other people had complained. Now I wasted my time and money on 13 classes but they charging me for like 20 classes. They dropped me several times. Ita ridiculous they be over charging. Plus there equipment was overly used and the arms we uses in phlebotomy was torn and worn out...they wasn't replacing them. Its not fair when you get promised a high education and a job afterwards when you don't really get that out of this.....I dislike it. Plus one teacher didn't know what she was teaching and was wondering why she was placed in the class. She didn't know the material or even tried to learn it. My money has gone to waste and the material I learned wasn't as thorough as I needed it to be. By this time I could have gotten my associates degree at a community college such as Bunker Hill which is cheap and affordable and is also hand on. This school is a rip off. I don't advise anyone to go here. Look into your options before you put yourself in debt. Then you have too much issues with Lincoln tech afterwards. It is terrible.

Hello, to all that are considering to go to Lincoln Tech, bare with me this will be long. First, know that this is what you want to do because it will cost you. Also, research jobs out there, how long it will be around, and where you can work as a MA,LPN, etc. Second do your homework on which Lincoln Tech facilities you are thinking about attending, look into the instructors, and what they are offering. BECAUSE, it is not the case.. they say it is more hands on, that the instructors are there to help you, and that you will get what you put in, if you meet them 120% they will too... EKKKKK WRONG... I myself followed the dress code, code of conduct, and attendance/school work, etc... but where is the help! They offer. As a student all I see and hear is that I have academic freedom OR i don't want teach this class, while some student are lost, sleeping, or on there phones, and/or not have the supplies and say it was a trick to see who is listening. Also, two weeks away from internship NO SITE, and when we have questions, the instructors talk under their breathe saying "that's stupid", while they get mad at the students following a break schedule they made up, and want us to change to the old ones because some instructors don't like it.. or if email to the wrong email address when they multiple email address for school and tell us once and not write it anywhere. Also, when you email with question for test on Thursday and they don't email us, and the test is at 8:30 am, because when your off, they are off????? they do not email on weekend, wait till Monday. How are us to study? You will have to teach yourself most of the time. ANOTHER FUNNY THING IS that they will talk to you when the corporate come to visit you, give you help to cover there butts. This school is all about business (money). So please, do your research and know this is what you want. However, for some this is the only way to feed and rise our family, because we need to start somewhere... I NOT SAYING ALL STUDENTS ARE THE SAME, BUT I AM TALKING ABOUT MYSELF AND INDIVIDUALS LIKE ME. so if Lincoln Tech read this and say yeah whatever they don't know what I'm talking about please look into it further, for future students. Thank you.

I went in to ask a few questions and walked out signed up to start in 2 months. I was essentially promised a rewarding career and to be making money. After 6 years in retail management, it seemed too good to be true. It was. I had excellent grades and worked hard at school. I never found a job as a medical assistant, could not transfer my credits and the school promised to pay for my certification but never did. Now I owe 10 grand in student loans and I feel like I was cheated. I should have just gone to community college, at least then I could transfer. I am sorry I ever walked through those doors. I'm not going to say I didn't learn anything; I definitely did, but I didn't learn 10 thousand dollars worth.

Horrible! I would never tell anyone to go here! I was there when they bought out the school before it. They changed everything in the middle of semesters. I was in a big room with two different teachers teaching two different things to two separate classes. I basically learned everything myself!

Iam currently attending the Paramus campus and let me tell you , THE WORST , the teacher literally admitted to the student if she/he does not like you they will fail you out of spite , I was also told if work is being due 2 days later & you choose one of the 2 days to be absent for personal reasons they will purposely change the due date of the work to the date you are absent so you can get a 0 , also Iam attending night class and was told that every class during the night class are able to do their work at home & school also but my class , the class Iam currently in is not able to do any work at home . They also recently hired a new professor let me tell you , she's the worst she favors students and if your not in her favor be ready to retake the class ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYBODY!
