"Lindenwood University counseling program is a good program, the classes are small, and professors are great too. The graduate program is convenient for working parents as well."

"College is a necessity at this time to find a good paying job or to do what you love and be legit It can be very expensive so plan accordingly--find a career path early on and look into costs as well as reimbursement programs. Work in the field you're going into the make sure you like what you're going to do and sometimes those employers will help to pay the costs of schooling."

"Good for the program I was in, very tough program. Lax in some of the other programs at that time, especially if related to sports."

"Lindenwood University is an excellent choice. I have only had a positive experience thus far in their professional counseling graduate program. The university utilizes technology throughout the classroom. I love that class sizes are small, allowing you the chance to get know your professors. I am already beginning to network with people that I will be working with in the field. I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice in this school and look forward to becoming an Alumnus."

"Lindenwood offers an excellent counseling program. The professors are very dedicated to the educating and mentoring the next generation of counselors. Financial aid is not a hassle to deal with and the university offers various discounts depending on demographic factors. I received a 33% reduction in tuition because I am currently employed in the social services field!"

"Overall, the professors that I have encountered have been highly competent and many have left me feeling enlightened. However, I have had one professor that is incompetent and it has been upsetting that I am spending so much money for education with a teacher that lacks the adequate skills."

"I feel the Counseling program at Lindenwood varies depending on what campus you may be attending. The expectations of students is low. To be admitted to the program, you only need to complete the application sheet and submit your transcripts. They do not require letters of recommendation or essays. If you're looking for a program that does not ask much of you as an individual, this is the one for you. I went into the program very positive and knowing I would only be able to take out, what I put in. There's not much to take out of the program no matter how much you put in. This program is not for those who enjoy an academic challenge."

"It is not very competitive to be accepted to the graduate program. The GRE was not required and the application process was fairly easy. My advisor and other faculty members are always willing to help and are easily accessible."

"I feel that my graduate program has been challenging and efficient. I feel it is really going to help me in my future. However, the tuition of going to grad school is killing me."
