"I believe this school is good for what it is. There are a few flaws I’ve seen with select professors and how they interact with students. Otherwise, most classes and professors are good; but housing needs a little more effort. Class size and community is small which most may take a liking to. The courses offered are very diverse which is appreciated."

"There is very little actual instruction in this program, other than brief powerpoint lectures. The assignments assume a lot of background in the field, and group projects make it so more experienced students teach other the material and lingo. Some instructors do not reply to emails. There is a lack of communication from instructors about assignments and due dates, and grading pages are cluttered with assignments that are not required or relevant. It's kind of shocking how little effort some instructors make to teach. Some classes have over 1000 points, and others have 50 points total. One class had several 5 point multiple choice quizzes. If you miss one or two questions, your grade is significantly lower. The program uses facebook to have students ask each other questions, which results in cliques and exclusivity. It's basically a diy program. Teach yourself the material and get a grade."

"As a Lindsey Wilson Student I never felt like just another student in a degree mill. Instructors invest in your education and work to shape you into a well equipped professional . Throughout the Counseling and Human Services program I was exposed to professionals serving in various avenues of the field and it opened my eyes to the diverse opportunities available to me upon graduating."

"This college offers a variety of Master degree programs for those seeking a career within the professional counseling arena. The site coordinators are extremely helpful and friendly. The class sizes are also small; making the learning experience a more personal one."

"LWC accommodates non-traditional students and their busy work and life schedules. They teach in a way that helps the students grow academically as well as spiritually and emotionally. To help prepare student's for the world of counseling with all it's up's and down's. "The Master's of Education Program at Lindsey Wilson College is developed to accommodate working individuals with families. I was able to work a 40 hour work week and still complete a full-time student curriculum with this program. The Cohort met every weekend for the evening on Fridays and all day on Saturdays for 2 years. We were enrolled in 3 classes for 3 weeks, etc until the program was completed. The program included 60 hours of mental health training and is CACREP accredited. I truly recommend this program to anyone of whom is in need of classroom instruction versus online or even a hybrid combination of both. I had attempted obtaining a Master's degree via distant learning or online programs several times before I successfully completed this program. I truly feel that my success was a result of the combination of the support and networking nature of which I received from the faculty. I am currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Education and Supervision at Lindsey Wilson College and am sure that I will be successful in this program as well."

"Lindsey Wilson is a great college for students. I did a program that was local in Paducah Kentucky and went to school while working full time!"

"The program is set up through Lindsey Wilson but courses are actually held at Southwest Virginia Community College. I love the fact that the program is designed for the working adult. Without the Friday evening/Saturday day schedule I am not sure I could attend. The courses are a mix between online components and face-to-face instruction which I need. Its a very fast-paced program as far as the individual course and so sometimes that leaves me reeling and feeling overwhelmed, but the staff is awesome and very supportive! I am very pleased with my decision to enroll in this particular program!"

"The program is a weekend program that takes place on a satellite community college campus. So I have no direct experience with the campus of Lindsey Wilson College to give my opinion on. However, the program itself is tailored for the working adult and is CACREP accredited. The classes are fast-paced but the faculty is always there to provide support and feed back. The classes have in-class and online components which gives students a good mixture of face-to-face support and use of technology. Overall I think the program is perfect for me and I would highly recommend it to someone thinking of starting grad school. I feel I made a great decision!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Lindsey Wilson College. Yes, it is expensive, just as most graduate programs are expensive. However, the faculty and staff are exemplary. My fellow students have become my second family. Much like in the professional world, we do a healthy amount of group work. While that might seem irritating to some, learning to work with others is highly beneficial, especially in the mental health field. LWC also utilizes instructors with real world experience. These teachers gladly share their hands-on knowledge. Also, they show an unrivaled love and respect for the field. I am so impressed by this school that I hope to teach there in the future. I cannot recommend it enough."

"I am just beginning my Masters with Lindsey Wilson. This will be my second Masters-I currently have a Master's in Human Services. I chose to take Counseling after working in the Human Services field and gaining a love of helping others. I have had several friends who graduated from this program and have loved it! So far I am happy with the program and the support I have received from staff and students. The workload is reasonable for working individuals looking to expand their education. I attend classes at an off-campus site. My only complaint with this program is I wish that a site would open up that is closer to my home and work!"

"I like the accessibility of the campus I go to an off campus site and I am 5 minutes from my work. I am currently doing my internship and after I graduate I have already found a job. Lindsey Wilson College challenges me and the weekend program allows me to maintain my 9-5 job and go to college. I feel like I am where I belong."
