"Linfield was my home away from home. Through quality mentoring and practical experience, I learned effective strategies for teaching that I still use today. The small school community means that my mentors and professors are still a part of my life, even though I have moved out of state. My education was enriched with classes on various subjects outside my major and I experienced an amazing semester abroad. The beautiful campus is well maintained which means studying outside during sunny days is a must. The close-knit community is what brings alumni back fifty years after graduation- because there's nothing like the feeling of going home."
Best RN-BSN Program!

"Linfield College School of Nursing is a highly respected nursing institution. Unfortunately, when I started my nursing school journey, I was not in a place where I could attend a four-year college from day one. Luckily, Linfield has an amazing RN-BSN program. After receiving my RN from a two-year community college, I was able to attend the program online. The part-time program made of 6 credits per term not only fit into my busy schedule as a working nurse, but allowed for me to pursue a higher level of education while taking care of my family. Since a BSN is almost a pre-requisite for a nursing position these days and in the upcoming years, I don't think I'd be able to find a better program to enrich your future!"

"Linfield has amazing staff. Very friendly, and very helpful, top scholars who are experts in their fields. The classes are generally engaging and class participation and discussion is encouraged and (often) highly intellectual; I learned so much from my peers because of this. It took me only a month or so to find a career in my field (which can be hard with a psychology degree with no experience). That being said, while the value of the college and education you receive is amazing, the price is extremely taxing. Tuition doesn't need to be that high...it seemed every year I was there they were updating/renovating Dillon Hall. Totally unnecessary. For those of us that don't have our parents pay our way through college, you will need to apply for a lot of scholarships in order to not come out with thousands of dollars in debt. Which I regretfully did. To me it was worth the cost, because I felt like I got an amazing education which I believe set me up to succeed in my career and makes my online master program seem like a cake walk. Plus I got to play two sports at the college level...not many people get to do that."

"Met great professors and formed lasting friendships at Linfield. They have high-quality, student-geared academic programs and the campus is beautiful. Only downside is the inefficient and generally unhelpful administration, specifically the Registrar's office."

"Linfield is a top notch institution with some of the best professors and teaching staff around. Class sizes are small with may possibilities to receive personal attention from professors. In addition, Linfield has an amazing study abroad program. Over half the students study abroad and Linfield makes it very easy and affordable for students to study abroad through many joint programs with other international schools and even paying for the airfare on behalf of the student. The one downside to Linfield for me personally is that the majority of the student body is heavily involved in sports and it seemed as though often sports were a priority over everything else. Overall, Linfield is a high quality school, but you might want to consider if sports are an important aspect of your college education. If so, Linfield is perfect for you!"

"Linfield College is a wonderful liberal arts college in the beautiful Willamette Valley area of Oregon. It's a small college where there is a very close-knit community and personal attention to students. I received a very quality education and had an amazing college experience. If I could do it again, I certainly would, and I would recommend this college to everyone."

"I met great people at Linfield- the professors and my fellow students were instrumental in helping me learn, grow, and achieve my goals. Campus culture was fun and supportive. The administration, however, could definitely do a better job serving the students. I had important paperwork misplaced multiple times, and the academic advising I received from staff in the registrar's office was sometimes inaccurate. This school has a lot to offer, and you can get a great education out of it, but keep both eyes on your records and document every interaction with administration so you'll be safe rather than sorry."

"Going to Linfield College was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Caring and engaged faculty, along with ample opportunity for involvement in extracurriculars made my college experience possible. I was able to graduate in 4 years with 2 majors and a minor, studied abroad, interned in Washington DC, served on student government, all without taking out $1 in loans. Linfield also provided me with great networking opportunities, and a connection made there landed me the job I have today."

"Linfield college offers a great nursing program. However, with a nursing major, the material necessary to study is continuously changing. That can always make learning challenging. Even though the learning criteria always seems to be evolving, there are professors at Linfield that are truly passionate about nursing and will do whatever possible to help you learn. My overall experience at Linfield college has been wonderful. I think as a college student, especially a nursing major you must be proactive about learning due to the continuous change in health care. I would recommend this nursing program to others."
