"The graduate programs are incredibly competitive. I am currently in a cohort of about 16 students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. It's a pricey school, but perhaps worth the money. This program is accredited, which makes their graduates a shoe-in for jobs. The admissions process was very scrambled, so be persistent. Call any department that you've submitted a form to and make sure they have it on file! The professors are incredibly friendly and easy to work with. The workload is hefty, so it's good to know you'll be able to ask a lot of questions easily. Located in beautiful Nashville, there's plenty of great food around the area."

"The pros include: small class sizes, opportunities for professional growth, and professors that are highly accessible, qualified, professional, and considerate. The cons are the choice of courses from semester to semester, financial aid (small number of scholarships & the office in itself)"

"Lipscomb University's Graduate program in Psychology is an exceptional step towards a PhD in Psychology. The faculty is the most accessible and personable faculty I have ever been around and they are completely committed to the success of their students. The program is also focused on teaching students how to become competent research Psychologists, which is a necessary skill that is often lacking for many people applying to PhD programs. I highly recommend this school and program to anyone interested in seriously pursuing a higher level education in Psychology."

"I really enjoyed my graduate experience at Lipscomb. The professors were very involved in all my classes and always made themselves to students. I would like to have had more financial support since I attended a private college."
