"The Public Administration graduate program at LIU is fantastic! It is small so every one has an opportunity to speak and ask questions. The faculty is highly experienced and gives a lot of insight and perspective into the area of study. However, the school is lacking in technology and does not adequately use its connections to the city, which could serve as a surplus of opportunity."

"Highly developed facilities, teachers are good, located in centre of town, however, cost of education is too high."

"The pharmaceutics graduate program helps the student to gain knowledge in the practical field of drug related research works and to learn extended matters in the primary concepts taught in bachelor degree. This program makes you eligible to get a good position in industrial sector, research science and in academic carrier. However, the cost to study the course is too high to afford. One either needs to work on high pay job or take high loans to complete the course. This makes a student to take high pressure in mind to complete the tuition fees rather than paying attention to study more well."

"Yes graduate school the work might be a lot but I am doing my best to strive and to fulfill whatever it is just to make a better life for myself. The cons is the financial expenses they do not have any insider grants for graduate or any coming students. So far, my journey has been wonderful I loved the staff and their supports they provide."

"CW Post is a great school and I love the graduate program I'm in. I'm currently in the dual program for Early Childhood/Elementary Education. It's a tough program but all my professors have been really wonderful, and helping me find placement for my fieldwork hours. The only real con is there isn't a lot of financial aid given in the form of scholarships or grants. The financial aid office does have amazing advisers that were about to help me figure out what loans would work for me."

"Pros: The faculty is very supportive and are available when we need them. They are willing to go the extra mile to help us. I'm really enjoying this program because at first I was not sure what I wanted to concentrate in, but I like that I'm gaining experience in a variety of areas in public health. Small cohort - everyone knows each other and we work well together in groups and to resolve other issues. Cons: No variety of electives. Since this program is fairly new, they don't have a great selection of electives as of yet, but they are growing and adding new electives. The program is not accredited. This makes me a bit nervous, but they are working on getting accredited. They have assured us that even if the program gets accredited within 5 years after we graduated, we fall under that accreditation status."

"Long Island University's OT program is especially good at providing a comprehensive education, with a focus on ensuring student competency in all areas. I believe it is the longest and one of the more expensive OT programs in the tri-state area, so consider other options in addition to LIU. If you have a relatively high GPA you can get scholarships."

"It's a demanding course load and I wouldn't expect anything less from a Graduate program. Overall I think it's a great program and would recommend it to others looking to get into the same field. The staff have real world experience and have no issues teaching on their subjects and do so with finesse."

"Most grad students do not live on campus, so you come and go to class and that's about it. It's a nice, safe area which also translates to expensive and not affordable to many. Some teachers are great, some are quite good, all make themselves very available to you. I've not had a bad experience yet. Students do often have to navigate things themselves and rely on advice of professors often. Given the economy and enrollment, times are clearly tight- there's not much in the way of technology in most places sadly- we in the Education Dept joke that we don't always have chalk in the room forget a SMARTBoard like public schools have. And they've recently reallocated almost all grad incentives and awards money to other areas leaving us grads with lots of loans and not much else. The location and the actual teachers are the real reasons to attend here and that this university could be recommended."

"I feel that we pay a lot for graduate school, which is unfair considering that we are in a full time program and cannot work to pay off bills and loans. I feel that more financial aid and scholarships should be awarded to students. On the other hand, this school has excellent professors who provide support and expertise. The content is rigorous, but I feel confident that I will do well and pass the National Board Exams."

"The Master's Program at LIU Brooklyn Campus in Pharmacology Toxicology and Medicinal Chemistry is a highly competitive program that offers students great insight into pharmacology and how medicine interacts with the human body. The curriculum is very challenging and requires a very strong background in biochemistry and/or pharmacology. However, in today's world, we are surrounded by medicine and herbal remedies of which we try to make sense of. The master's program in pharm/tox delivers high quality education to its participants, offering both a solid background of introductory courses and a wide variety of elective classes that cater to the individual's special interests. The faculty is incredibly knowledgeable and very amenable to helping their students learn. I highly recommend this program to anyone wishing to pursue careers in pharmacology, toxicology, and professional degrees, especially medicine."
